If there is joy in meditation upon the sun and moon, the planets and fixed stars are the magic creation of the sun and moon; make thyself like unto the sun and moon themselves. If there is joy in meditation upon the mountain, the fruit-trees are the magic creation of the mountain; make thy self like...

You have the coolest name! You're lucky to have it. " - " I think its funny. When I was a teenager though I made a prank call to an operator as a dare from friends and she really gave me this big long terrible lecture on how hard her life was and how hard she works and how could I etc... which I sti...

Honestly, I think its the average person that has the problem with conversation. You get little response if you try to talk about anything outside very limited and familiar sets of concepts. People really resent it when you deviate from the conversational norms, but where is the color or fun in that...

Yay!! I'm glad to hear people talking about Canadian Idol! I've never been to any Idol message boards, this is pretty much my first message board. CockneyRebel, I understand what you mean and my musical tastes are usually outside the mainstream as well, but I still enjoy watching Idol - for me its l...

As for it being racist, are you asian or another "racial minority"? Frankly, I saw NOTHING racial about it. I don't think I saw any blacks(I wasn't looking), but there were PLENTY of asians and, outside of the ones in the gang, they were there for the SETTING, just like the spanish guys were. White...

I saw that movie like six months ago, and I remember being offended by that part, but I guess I did interpret it incorrectly. I admit I wasn’t happy with that character’s characterization and lines from the start, however, I thought the film was making some kind of racial statement. People are alway...

to the above poster: to make videos for youtube all you need is a digital camera/camcorder/webcam if you do use a camcorder, you will need a way of connecting it to your computer to get the videos off it (video capture card or firewire for example) YouTube videos are restricted to 10 minutes long t...

You make good points. This has nothing to do with Aspergers, I don't think, but I really remember a scene in the movie "In Her shoes" with Cameron Diaz, she plays this kind of clueless ditzy (but in a more destructive way, not like Melody) character who is seemingly very superficial to her family. S...

Darn, I don't know how to make Youtube videos. Can we post a video of someone elses pet? This is Knut, the polar bear in Germany that was rejected by his mother, a Circus bear, he was the size of a guinea pig when he was born and had to be incubated and raised by humans. He is now a celebrity. He is...

I always thought some of the ditzy 'dumb blonde' characters out there could be seen as misunderstood Aspie archetypes. Like Melody in Josie in the Pussycats. She's a great drummer! She sees the world in her own way too. When your spacy about some things, or walk into the street or lose your d...
