OOC: Yes, totally Zaphod Beeblebrox! Think of him as obsessed with narcissism, living irresponsibly and such. That's completely what I had in mind when I created Nyskel. I loved Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by the way. IC: "Bureaucrats? Well, I mean, they all kinda suck, right? If I were in charg...

While I theoretically know that, I'm trying to say that I find it extremely difficult to make decisions based around that idea. I can't tell when to leave things, when to just let things slide and when to seriously try to repair things. It's a skill that I'm almost completely lacking. Right now, I h...

I would like to keep this rather generic because I don't want to say anything bad about anyone in case they happen to use the same website that I do. However, I play board games at this one website and I casually mentioned how I used to be a much stronger player. Naturally, a few of the players ther...

OOC: I'm not offended at all. I guess the idea could have been in the back of my head when I created him, but I didn't base him off anything in particular. I was actually thinking of him more as a rocker in space than a Warhammer 40k character. I'm flattered at the connection, though. IC: The main p...

OOC: Very interesting character. Like Anarbaculardrop suggested, certainly approved. That being said, I'm not sure how much approval we actually need to give and receive any more considering that it is only the three of us at the moment. IC: After twisting for a few moments, it was clear that Nyskel...

"Alright, alright, I'll come with. I'm walking. See my feet? I'm not resisting you. I just don't know what you expect me to say. I have no idea what you're talking about. As for an Ambassador? I'm not sure, but I am sorrowful that they passed from this universe and into the next." Nyskel's words, re...

Indeed, Nyskel was quite concerned and he had the right to be. He didn't care to end up vaporized by those enemy blasters. Well, honestly, he didn't even consider them enemies. He didn't have the slightest idea why he was being apparently assaulted and boarded by Imperial soldiers that he had never ...

[Thanks for joining in after so long. I'm sorry it took me a bit to respond. I wasn't receiving emails when things were updated on Wrong Planet. I have that corrected now, and I would love to continue if you're still in the mood. There's no worries about being accepted I suppose. If it means anythin...

Thank you all for the responses. It's meant a lot. I'd like to comment on everything that's been said thus far, but I first want to say that I understand that I had to have misinterpreted something. I'm glad nothing ill has come out of this besides my hurt feelings, which I haven't shown as I said, ...

I hope that I would not be insulted or deemed too naive by saying this. However, for the past few months there was an individual at GameStop that was seriously flirting with me. At first I didn't know how to take it. I'm sure that being on the spectrum; most people around here understand what I'm ge...

I'm not sure if it's even right to make broad generalizations about people with high-level degrees. I am not trying to be cruel at all; please don't misunderstand me. However, I've learned the hard way that just because people have a degree in their field and work in it doesn't mean they care about ...

I utterly know the feeling. Indeed, sometimes I feel that the way I portray myself and ask questions on Wrong Planet may sound stupid, but I behave in much the same fashion. I remember when I was in High School math class I just could never stay focused. They were wasting their time away with simple...

I have an honest question. For a long time, I've been distrustful about using flash drives for long term storage. However, I was seriously wondering if my fears about them wearing out any more quickly than a hard disk are unwarranted. After all, I realize that most of them, if connected and disconne...

Thank you for the response. Actually, I was thinking of the fogging aspect myself, and read up on it. Apparently, if you left a thoriated lens in a camera for weeks, it may actually fog the film. That kind of proves that mine wasn’t an effected model, since I left it in a camera for months once will...
