That's a good post, Gavin. If the mother does not bottle feed, you can still connect with the baby. Just do what Gavin said, minus the bottle. I do not bottle feed so my husband will take the baby and play with him or just hold him. It means I can get a shower or run to Starbucks for a coffee if I w...

My daughter is 6 and presumably NT, for the most part, though she does exhibit some strong signs of Sensory Processing Disorder. I find that I don't always get her, really. But I understand my aspie (8 yrs old) and the b...

Our group (San Antonio, TX) usually meets at a restaurant and we just hang out and visit. No agenda. How often does this occur? I live in Austin, and might be interested. Probably social phobia will keep me from coming, but the 411 would be nice to have nonetheless. Cool. It happens about once a mo...

I get night terrors frequently. Sometimes it'll be months between, other times it's just a few weeks. I also get false awakening and sleep paralysis with them.

Thanks to all of you for your replies, especially those who were able to discern what I was truly asking for advice on. Interestingly (although I am not disappointed by any means), I posted this on the kids thread because I really wanted to hear from some kids who may or may not be in the same situ...

How can the kids believe what they want unless they have a basis on which to form opinions? I believe in God because I chose to. My brothers, who were raised the same way, each made their own choice, as well. One of them has the same beliefs, the other 2 don't. How could they have made that choice u...

(Some in the congregation do it on Thursday nights.) On Sundays and Tuesdays the services are broken up midway with a song of pra...
