I clean with vinegar and baking soda because they don't smell. Well, the vinegar smell goes away eventually.

As a kid, I could never go through the cleaning aisle at the grocery. I had to run around the other end and wait for my mom.

I see it, but only because I already know the person is on the spectrum. I know 3 other little boys on the spectrum but only because their parents have told me.

The only adults that I know on the spectrum are the ones I've met through here IRL.

It feels so weird. Too much, too intense. It freaks me out and I want to cry. My dentist today tried to force eye contact (in a joking, funny way) but I ended up talking to a ceiling tile instead of him or the hygienist. Tell the kid as soon as you can.

We never hid it, but ds asked me a few mos ago, "Mom, what's Asperger's?" I got to explain it to him and he understood that his brain works differently. Since figuring out that I've also got Asperger's, he seems more at ease, somehow. Like he knows I get him.

I've seen it twice and every friend fo mine that has seen it said, "OMG, that's SO Carrie!" when they see the Daniel character.

yes, but it feels more geared toward NT parents of spectrum kids, not AS parents.

I'm an AS parent w/ an AS kid, an SI kid, and what appears to be a currently NT baby.
