The acting by Benjamin C. was really good but IMHO as a techie it just felt poorly written / executed - I mean as I recall (and I only saw it once during its theatrical run) it almost made it seem as if these guys didn't know what they were doing, more like "well, why don't we keep re-wiring th...

Unfortunately the system can get into a state where automatic updates no longer happen and it won't notify you that its no longer updating. I noticed this because I bought my wife a new laptop with Windows 10, and after initial setup it did this *major* update that took forever. I scratched my head ...

The ones I remember were Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings - I don't think I finished either but the game was fun (when it wasn't maddening). I am pretty sure there was a Christmas Lemmings! game as well which might have just been a free demo but I remember playing it - it was basically a set of lev...

Went to Coachella once, would not go back again. I had a good time, but it was expensive then and ridiculously expensive these days. Worse, the multi-stage format means that at any given moment four or five bands are playing. Unless you're musical tastes are just right, this means at any moment prob...

IMHO Enjoy The Silence is a fantastically good song, one of my favorites from that era in music - there's been some good covers of it too like Hybrid's.

Liked a lot of their other stuff as well but for me that one song stands above the rest.

I use ProXPN and they've always been good. You can use it for free but the bandwidth is very limited unless you pay.

IMHO, it can be hard for two reasons. First, you really need a solid foundation in the math that comes before it, algebra and to some extent trigonometry especially. If you aren't comfortable simplifying equations, factoring them, etc. then its a bit like trying to build a house of cards - while si...

Then why are they always blaming their problems on -feminists -immigrants -gay people -Muslims -poor people on welfare -basically everyone except the rich white straight Christian males who make up most of the party's constituents? I can't be the only one who sees the contradiction here... Generall...

Saw the movie, we were encouraged by a friend who was real enthusiastic that it was a re-imagining of a bunch of fairy tales. None of us had any idea going in that it was originally a musical, or that the movie was a musical either. Personally I liked it quite a bit, but our friend didn't because it...

Absolutely love that show, but have only watched the first episode this season. For some reason just haven't managed to put in the time to watch it yet. Also was sort of disappointed the way it ended last season without much resolution and then they've just skipped ahead a few years and to a new set...

Not a legal expert but my understanding is that there are a host of legal reasons why Obama has been the valid president of the US since first sworn in. Among them are that the electoral college met after both his elections and he won the votes that they held, counted by congress, which is technical...

I really just don't get the people who feel like there is a 'War on Christmas'. As a non-Christian American, I find it difficult to overstate just how utterly dominant Christian culture is in our society and how much it permeates your life even if you don't want it to - it can't really be avoided sh...

Simple - guys want to attract girls, girls want to attract guys. Most guy's consider a woman's looks to be the or one of the most important factors in their attractiveness. Most girls do not put a guy's looks that high up on the list and look at other factors first (don't get me wrong, I've known wo...
