A lot of us are in the same boat. I've never had a girlfriend either and I'm 20(I know that's not so old) still, I wouldn't be surprised if I never had one. I just don't have what it takes.

A down to earth person. Someone who is simply kind and trustworthy. I hate those who are phonies, skanks and all about their looks. I'll admit finding an innocent girl would be nice but the number of them out there today is almost zero.

You'll just have to move on. The more you think about the person in that way, the worse it is. You just have to come to terms with yourself and find other things to think about. I've gone through the exact same thing plenty of times. There's been some girls I'd really admire or want but I know I'd n...

When I get into conversations I'm into, I tend to rub my hands, shift back and forth sometimes and stand up(if sitting down). I don't even think of doing those things but it happens.

Forum: General Autism Discussion   Topic: How many of you refuse to have a car?

I have to have one and for one reason only, it's my personal escape. I can go in it and go anywhere I want. If I want to leave my house, then it's there. Anytime, any place. I hated getting rides from others (or having to ask others for rides which I never did). By owning a car I get to be completel...

I've found other ways to cope with my loneliness. My ambition is to work and make money, save money and someday make a real living. Since my social life is almost non-existent with the exception of some small talk, I try not to think about my lack of friends. I try to keep myself occupied with as mu...

I wait for them to ask me. If they ask me, I can have a whole conversation with then. If they don't, then nothing happens.

Forum: General Autism Discussion   Topic: What is very mildly aspergers?

I'd say those with mild aspergers pretty much can blend into society normally and most people might not even know there is anything wrong with that person. I knew a person with aspergers that I never thought would have it in school. He had a lot of friends, was funny and confident and had quite a fe...

Do you like it?

No. I'd like a girl's company once in a while but it probably won't happen for a long time.

If only all girls felt like you. Still, the truth is having aspergers sucks and there nothing to be proud of about it. I hate being like this. I hate being alone every night and feel left out. I hate never being able to get a girlfriend or being able to talk to one. Being a male with aspergers is wo...

I've definitely been judged mostly through out school. Every time I was in class, I was constantly asked why I didn't speak and was always characterized as anti-social and a loser. I'll never forget the time my 8th grade English teacher called me anti-social because I didn't feel comfortable working...

I really hate court shows. They are all so boring and it's nothing but other peoples problems. Yet, my parents watch them everyday. I hate all the court shows but if I have to pick one, I'll just pick Judge Joe Brown randomly.

It happens a lot but not always in bad ways. Sometimes people joke with me and I take it literally. I'll answer the joke in a way where I take it seriously like it was a question or statement and after they say, I was just kidding and lots of times I can't tell the difference. This is why I hate jok...

Being socially impaired can be very tough I must admit. It seems like for some reason, I keep losing potiential friends and it's not because of anything the person or myself did wrong. There's no fights or any negative exchanges. Sometimes, I lose potiential friends simply because of social miscommu...
