I think it just means the other party is chicken shi*.

If I recall, it didn't seem like things were going so bad we just had to dissociate.

Holding a grudge can really make you look petty and mean. someone can unintentionally hold a grudge. "forgiving" is not just a thought choice. sometimes you just need a long time to forget and get different perspectives. there are things I don't really forgive people for, I just eventually locate a...

I kinda like Facebook. All those old school friends I haven't seen years :D Just chatting to them about nonsense like I haven't seen them for 15 days instead of 15 years.

No one blocked me so far :P

That has squat to do with the OP's situation.

"Baffling" is the perfect word for that kind of behavior! It's happened to me too. I've talked to others and it's happened to them.

I agree, but then you have to deal with being a hermit. That's... not quite for me yet.

LOL! I don't even know my neighbors' names!

I didn't either when I lived in a house. I think it's a regional thing.

Damn hard for me. I never did really open up that much to my roomies.

Make an effort to be social though, and you'll be fine.

I can relate. I think I'll always be that way to an extent, no matter what. People joke sometimes so literally though, I think anybody could misinterpret their humor.

[opinion=mine] ... an over-developed sense of entitlement OR a self-deprecative attitude, which come across as either "I have ________, so you must make concessions for me!", or "I have ________, so there is no way that I could be good at anything." [/opinion] Shame on you. SHAME. ON. YOU.

I did not read your whole posting here but from what it sounds like, this person sounds extremely toxic. I had the same feeling when your friend stated they would only need you when they wanted someone to have fun with, then you were free to disappear. That's not a healthy relationship at all . Not...

Yeah. I hate it when they just drop you and never answer your call again. I get over it, but always wonder what went wrong.

If they aren't telling you why, then that's where I usually add my own story line, but I base it on: 1) Were your comments/conversations friendly with them? Was there any snark in them or unkindness? 2) What kind of relationship did you have? How well did you know them? Those are good questions. Th...

I guess it depends on the situation with people who dropped you. Were they good friends? Acquaintences? Acquaintences are easy, because it's nothing personal. If we're talking Facebook, then maybe they were just doing a little "clean up". Either way, maybe you'll want to ask them if there's anythin...

How do you go about it?

Say for instance, people who drop you? I feel like I deserved an explanation, and if there was a problem they should have given me a little heads up. But I'm finished being angry. How can I go about forgiving?
