I think trying to get into another hospital might be a good option if you can do. I hope she has a speedy recovery. *hugs* |

There's just something about cats that I just love. They're just very loving creatures and accept you for who you are. |

Right now I am at a zero, in purgatory. Could be better, but could be worse. So-so. |

Thank you Aaron for your insightful story. Through all of your challenges, you have kept hope and a positive outlook. That is wonderful---it does help tremendously because I have been thinking a lot about people who are beacons of hope for others. You are on your way to being one of those people. Y... |

I have a suggestion. Why not start up a group of students that have autism and NTs, and discuss how students with autism are different and how to help them out in a proactive way? That's a good lesson to learn in middle school. |

I feel like half my age, which is 14. I really sometimes don't have mind of an adult. I think it is a functional thing for me to live, otherwise, if I thought like an adult at all times, I'd go crazy! |

It's my social psychology final. I've gotten 3 A's on my last 3 exams, so I'm not terribly worried about next Wednesday, but am a little sad it is ending, because I really had a fun time taking social psychology and understanding the social world just a little bit better. Does it hold all the answer... |

That has to be one of the scariest things to ever experience in life. I'm glad you're there by your mom's side. Here's hoping she can make a full recovery and can be happy. I bet that would be a great Christmas present. *hugs* |

There is something called theory of mind. And people with autism tend to have a poor theory mind. To lie, you have to have theory of mind, in order to gauge what people may believe versus what they may not believe. I am terrible at lying, but great at telling the truth, even if the truth isn't very ... |

Hi, Glider. I'm Aaron, and I'm a 28 year old college senior with a major in General Studies. What I want to do is help high schoolers with autism get a jump start into college when I am done. I guess my story is a long one. I was born on October 8, 1981. I couldn't talk until I was the age of 3. If ... |
