I can relate to what most are saying. However, is it not equally true that most aspies can convey their interior world in equally obscure and idiosyncratic ways? So much so that it can be equally challenging - if not more - for even others in the spectrum to understand. Most aspies I know are of the...

Thank you both. I have always seen the contemplative paths of all the great religious teachings, as heading in the same direction as science. Merely approaching truth from simply different sides of the mountain - so to speak. I care very little for what such ultimate truth is wrapped up in Dear One....

Thank you for responding.

If you're ever in London, do pop into Westminster meeting, it would be good to see you.

Go well out there.

Chris.

Hello, My latest little book, Unclouded by Longing - Meditations on Autism and Being Present in an Overwhelming World has just been released. The book will be of interest to people who have autism - like myself - and who have an interest in the wisdom teachings of the worlds religions. However, as a...

Many times here it is talked about how people in the spectrum find it hard to leave home. Yet I often meet people like myself who feel hemmed in by walls and ceilings. As a result they take to the road, or like myself they walk hours upon hours each day. Whilst I value enormously everybody's experie...

I am always very moved when I see people respond to people here who have written extremely long paragraphs. However, any paragraph that is longer than fifteen lines I completely abandon. It's not that I don't care, I do. Even if the subject appeals to me, I just get overwhelmed and don't read it. I ...

The milder one is on the spectrum, the greater the capacity to read NV clues. End of. However, if you has a right brain orientation, or good balance of left and right as well as being on the mild side... well, your going to be even better at reading the interior world of others. If you have all the ...

I could relate very much to this sense of confusion immediately after my own dx. Consequently I felt called to share with you all a little reflection I wrote on my diagnosis for my latest book. I hope you find it of value. Autism as an Awakening What you want to overcome you must first of all submit...

I love these two quotations. They speak to my condition as us Quakers would say. "He who sees the Infinite in all things, sees God. He who sees the Ratio only, sees himself only"- William Blake "I didn't arrive," said Albert Einstein, "at my understanding of the fundamental ...
