London is the new L.A. Wonder if it will get that bad. Or has it gotten worse? I'm not all that familiar with the L.A. riots; I know they lasted nearly a week and were caused by a brutal police beating... and that they were horrible... but I don't know how much of L.A. was destroyed. With the ones ...

Yes, but the only breakfast foods I really like are ones I shouldn't eat, so I end up eating potatoes or buckwheat, which are okay but not overly appealing. I'd eat normal food if I felt like cooking that soon after waking up.

Wondering what the hell is going on in London. I mean, I've heard and read the facts. What I wonder is what possesses people to do this. Times like these I'm glad I don't connect with crowds. London is the new L.A.

And hoping any Londoners here are safe.

I have mine. They've never bothered me. Though one is somewhat sideways.

I have never shot a rabbit. However, when I was a kid, we found a baby one by our house, and when my dad picked it up, it most definitely screamed. It shocked me.

Three things *we are not all introverted or depressed *I cannot cure myself by acting NT *You stated you were not trying to cure autism, but rather you were trying to "improve" your score, that is what you did. This. And you are obviously not aware of just how obsessed you are with this.

Of course most would say that they would save the stranger, but would they? That's my thought. Naturally, I'd like to think that I would. But I can't say whether that's true because it's never happened to me. Maybe none of us would/could when the time came, no matter how much of a hero we want to b...

I have actually thought that if I did lose something it would be speech. I have been without speech when I would get these colds years ago and I was able to communicate fine with gestures. Definitely. I don't think I'd care if I never had to speak again. @Fear: I meant taste/sight/smell/touch/sound...

Probably language because I'd lose the feeling of being alive.

Do you mean you'd give up language?

I'm leaning towards giving up language myself, because language isn't a huge part of my thoughts. Not having to worry over it would relieve a lot of stress.

From my observations, there are two main types of aspies. The quiet ones, and the loud ones. I always feel like most other aspies are loud ones, and being a quiet one is unusual. (I'm glad to hear there are others like me.) In f...

I often feel that I don't do much communicating anyway, so I guess it doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. I think it might actually be freeing. But I guess it's deal-breaking for everyone else. Ah, well.

You wouldn't be communicating either way, unless it was telepathic.

If you had to choose between language (in any form--spoken, written, signing, visual symbols, even thoughts in the form of language) or your senses, which would you choose? You'd give up one of them entirely and keep the other.

I haven't decided my answer yet...
