Well, sure Kilroy, the men of this forum need a hobby, and they have one: Posting their sexist crap. If you don't like their hobby, don't partake in it. The bottom line is, the simple act of you telling them isn't going to help them get a hobby. I have to say something for tough love though. Tellin...

Nearly every day I see a new thread full of sexist crap and pointless whining about how men can't get laid and how women are so unfair. It is very easy to develop a resentment of women if they reject you and you don't understand why, and what is interesting is that more socially incompetent someone...

I can relate to this. Growing up I wanted to be a famous musician, but guess what, I was horrible at dealing with setbacks at learning piano, got so frustrated I cried a lot and never kept at it. Then I wanted to be a famous physicist, but again, I wasn't good at keeping track of everything in schoo...

Best of wishes. Try picking up a hobby or something that other people do together or like to talk about. After you recover you may find it easier to make new friends. If people talk to you for the purpose of exchanging the information that you know and that they are already interested in it is a lot...

If you can't forgive them, or can forgive them but just can't deal with them anymore, I would suggest confronting them about this and explaining your feelings even though that might be difficult. Because of the differences between NT's and AS's there can be breakdowns in communication, and a lack of...

I'm really sorry to hear this. Maybe try talking directly to your neighbor and explain your condition and see if that helps? Have you explained your condition and how bad this is to your landlord? Have you tried looking up noise regulations for your area? A google search for me came up with a bunch ...

It really depends on what you want from your system. I want control *of* my system, and some arrogant programmer had decided s/he and Mint should take over and decide my boot for me. Why don't you try Ubuntu? Make a Ubuntu boot disk and it will automatically resize your partition (you can choose ho...

I have asperger's (a friend who has a master's degree in social work asked me questions from the DSM, I'm not sure if that diagnosis can be considered official) and I think I have some form of Tourette's (this started after a very sad experience freshman year of college), but the weird thing is that...

I am single right now for many different reasons. 1 The vast majority of women that I would be attracted to would not be attracted to me. And I could lie and say that I am attracted to women that I am not attracted to, because actually the most important thing for me is to find someone with points 3...

I worked as an intern for an entire year at a software company. I am now working part time there while I finish college. I switched to ubuntu after the first 4 months of working there because I found XP to be too buggy. I have since been able to do everything the other developer's do on windows on m...

Never really toe walked, but I did have an unusual method of locomotion as a little kid: I would run on all fours like a horse, and jump around on all fours like a frog.
I thought it was better than walking for a long time, and was upset with myself when I was naturally growing out of it.
