I know that a lot of people are going to have trouble with the idea of giving a convicted child molester the benefit of the doubt, but I see a little too much money moving around, here. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/26/shower-victim-2-jerry-sandusky-penn-state_n_1706944.html A civil lawsuit?...

Wasn't Sandusky convicted on the un-impeached testimony of six victims? How much evidence is required to conclude that Sandusky is a dirty filthy pervert and child molester? ruveyn If they are lying, though, their crime is significantly worse than the one Sandusky has been convicted of. The story d...

Okay, here is an interesting development. Not a surprising one, though. His wife, here, is coming out in his defense. http://abcnews.go.com/US/jerry-sanduskys-wife-faces-time-court/story?id=16643086#.UBKJhWGe7QB What most annoys me is that we have a psychologist here trying to psychoanalyze her base...

I am not going on much besides gut feelings, here, but I am skeptical of the authenticity of the charges against Jerry Sandusky. If nothing else, I think that the media has greatly exaggerated the level of certainty in the case. One major red flag for me is the McQueary testimony. I found his story...

Look, I'm not the least bit anti-religious or anti-spiritual, when you get right down to it. My husband tried telling me I could opt out of a religious service associated with his aunt's centennial birthday, and I insisted on going. I sang along with every hymn, stayed quiet and patient during the p...

The Levant is a snakepit. It was a snakepit two thousand years ago. It has always been a snakepit. It will remain a snakepit. Any religion that comes from the Levant bears this taint, and that is that. There is nothing wrong with being religious or spiritual. Heck...some of the most knowledgeable an...

http://www.forbes.com/sites/rickungar/2010/09/25/does-obamacare-really-cut-medicare-benefits-to-senior-citizens/ Forbes is not exactly an ultra-liberal media outlet, by the way. Therefore, what is the real story on Obamacare? As usual, the Republicans have been lying to you in a massive way. One de...

There is a lot of campaign trash talk out there about Obamacare. In fact, if you were to pair the search terms "deficit" and "health care," you would find pages of results claiming that "study finds healthcare reform increases deficit." The study in question was conducted by a "conservative trustee,...

Well, one thing that I will say is that the impact of global warming has been considerably worse under the Obama administration. Although I do not consider Romney to be a much better prospect, I hope that we will have a president soon who has a better policy on the climate. Other environmental prob...

-ed a radical? Or Bastiat or Locke? Just imagine one of them writing some of their stuff today. lol. Chuck Schumer would probably call for Bastiat's head. Or imagine if Smith were to show up at CPAC. I would imagine that would go over very well :chin: . I just think it is funny for instance that pe...

The question should be why do people who do not believe in spirtiual things care so much about them  Most people who actually have enough interest to investigate the issue just end up being atheist or agnostic. This doesn't diminish the interest necessarily, so you end up with a lot of atheist...

The funny thing about Mario, he actually gets attacked quite a bit as having a pro-spiritual outlook. Doesn't matter. If he isn't performing experiments that are only deemed "successful" if they give him the answer he is looking for, he's performing valid science. In science, there are two possible...

My first answer is, "How would you go about instructing a right-handed toddler, who has never before seen a musical instrument or had any musical instruction, on how to play Canon in Locrian F sharp on a grand piano?" Just because you can't produce instant results doesn't mean that you lack the cap...
