I've started to really like using lists. If you have something to do break it down in small tasks and cross the off the list as you go. I try to make the list items intentionally easy so I can cross them off quickly and feel like I'm making progress.

I love going barefoot, though I don't go barefoot around town. I tend to be barefoot when I am just outside in my neighborhood or hiking. If your like me and tend to walk on your toes then going barefoot isn't too bad... you really don't want to walk heel to toe barefoot anyway. The only time I find...

I'm completely guilty of this, my mom asks me all the time "Whats so funny?" and I never really can answer her. My head is just a silly place and it makes me laugh. I just tend to make weird connections in my head that I find really funny. I used to share my silly thoughts with my friends but ...

I did this all the time when I was younger and still to some extent now (though I tend to just skip family gatherings altogether). As a kid I would try to socialize for as long as I could until I got burnt out, then I would go hide up in my room. I think the idea of taking breaks is a good suggestio...

You were the first person to reply to my introductory post here. You seemed like a kind person and I think you had a picture of someone with a cone over their head as an avatar, which I found amusing.

Same question.

People tend to think I'm a big science fiction fan because Dick is my favorite author, but I rarely read science fiction from other writers, and it's even more rare for me to enjoy science fiction from other writers. He doesn't really care about the science. He's less concerned with how the android...

I only wriite 'love' when it is my family. Everyone else just gets my name signed on the card. When I was younger I used to sign my full name (first and last) until my family started making fun of me for doing it. I stick to the same rule, love is for family/significant others only. I also used to ...

I've taken Amtrak to and from Chicago a couple times and I like it much more than flying. I actually find it more comfortable and quiet than a large airliner is. The power outlet is nice too. I also like that, at least for the trips I have been on, there is no assigned seating so you can space yours...

I think this is pretty much a human trait. There are so many factors that influence peoples behavior: mood, health, lack of sleep, diet, etc. that it is pretty normal to have some days where you feel and function better, while other days where you feel and function worse. I don't think you could fin...

People usually guess I am 18 or 19 when in reality I am nearing 24.

Philip K. Dick is pretty much the only science fiction author I like. Though I must admit I have only read his short stories.
