I don't want to be then contacted by DOZENS of Aspie guys asking me for a date, lol. Once you achieve celebrity status, only the best looking, wealthiest, and most self-confident Aspie guys are going to hit on you. As for the rest of 'em, you're suddenly out of their league. So, do you have aspirat...

if it was going to be used to help autistics in finding employment and other life skills and such, maybe. Thanks for the thoughtful and well-considered response. I'm still kind of naive about these things. Has anyone heard of such a foundation? Maybe we need to look into starting one. :jester: :hea...

I quit drinking coffee months ago when I started taking Zoloft. It just wasn't doing anything for me anymore, and I've needed to quit for years because I have that reflux disorder. BTW, in addition to treating depression, it seems to help reduce other addiction-type behaviours, including some of my ...

 I made a joke on this thread http://www.wrongplanet.net/asperger.html?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=15099 about getting 12 aspie girls to pose for a photo calendar. The more I think about it, the more I think it may be a good and viable idea. I’m not talking about nudes, though maybe o...

Yeah, it seems like a lot of us are up over there. Do Americans need a passport to visit Canada?

Has anyone thought about an aspie convention or ice cream social or something like that? I imagine most of us may not be able to afford to travel far. I personally have been west of the Mississippi only once since infancy (St. Louis) and never out of the country.

Perhaps you should seek the assistance of a good mental health counselor or Ph.D. psychologist. Ask your physician.

I have a paranoid fear of snakes. I think they're beautiful, at least the constrictors, and I'm respectful but not fearful of wild snakes. I love handling pet snakes because I get that same thrill, that adrenaline rush that is the reason some people love rollercoasters. I just need the owner to be r...

About every 30 days in the summer if I can afford it, less often in the winter or if I can't afford it. I love getting my haircut. I go to an old barbershop with old barbers who know how to give an old man an old man's haircut. Not that I'm old mind you.
