It's Nature. Natural selection. ...and up until just recently, Men have been making all the rules. I think all the bitterness toward women from men who maybe feel inadequate in this area is interesting. As a woman who has always felt clueless about the dating scene, I feel a lot of it is unwarrante...

well, that what happens when you play the passive role.

Ain't nobody playing any roles here. We're just a bunch of aspie girls trying to survive in a world where women get blamed for male weakness. You make it sound like we set ourselves up for date rape on purpose.

Not to sound like a debby downer but least wonen don't get thought of as creeps. Perhaps, but aspie girls tend to be extra gullible and a lot of guys jump at the chance for an easy roll in the hay and don't think twice. I wonder if anyone's done any studies on the occurrence of STD's in Aspie girls...

Forget Sherlock Holmes, I'd settle for just getting through grocery shopping without an issue.

I understand this to be true but it's not what I meant.

I'm new to this. I wasn't dx'd as a kid. I don't know all the educated terms, just my experiences but I'll give it a shot. I want to know the plan before I have to act. I need to understand my part. Doing it wrong has unwanted consequences that I know all too well and would really like to avoid. Als...

I've been watching Elementary on CBS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YvuZ4Msh50 I think it would be awesome to have a personal assistant to help me make my way through the perils of NT land. My Lucy would also do my housekeeping. Ugh! The bane of my existence... Would you find a companion like this...

To the OP, I'm 53. I think in my lifetime, we've seen a lot of changes. When I was a kid, it was kinda like what you see on I Love Lucy. The man was king, told his wife how to vote, what to wear, what to think, everything. When I graduated high school in 1977, women were fighting in court for the ri...

I will, just to keep the peace. It's no skin off my nose to humor another if that's what it takes to help them be productive and feel useful. The thing is they're not looking to be humoured, they're looking to be respected. It doesn't matter what people consider about them in their minds, it would ...

I'm reading a lot of wisdom here. Thanks. I appreciate those taking the time to answer my post. The idea that we are not herd animals is intriguing. A little light just clicked on. Aspinator, I really don't like what you wrote about people not liking us because of AS but I have to admit you're right...

Some times its so hard to hold it together. I am such a wrong person. Truly, I'm ok with myself. I believe what I read in the Bible, that I am beautifully and wonderfully made. I learned this as a child and have never had a reason to doubt it. I'm a good and honest person. I don't cheat or lie. I he...

I think a lot can be said about assumptions. I do it; we all do it. Reading this as a third party, twice, I see you both essentially saying the same thing, just maybe misreading and assuming here and there, so can we bury the hatchet (and the high heeled shoes?) Nobody's perfect. All you need is love.

I will, just to keep the peace. It's no skin off my nose to humor another if that's what it takes to help them be productive and feel useful. I understand its a very emotional issue and don't wish to offend anyone, but truly, I have a little trouble with this. A man can't become a woman, surgically,...

53, married 20 years, divorced at 38. I haven't dated much because I was too busy raising kids; you can't trust anyone these days. Men prey on single moms and their kids. Kids are gone now and I might like to have a permanent man in my life, but I'm a lot more picky than I used to be. I'd rather die...
