Oh yeah. I mishear a lot of stuff that gets said to me. It's really annoying and people just don't understand how much effort a "normal" conversation takes because of the fact I have to listen to what people say twice in my head. I hear it once then replay it back in my head just to make sure I have...

I am here to find those who are like me.

For once in my life, to find a kindred spirit.

To find other people who walk their daily life in the same shoes I wear.

To ask for guidance. To give guidance.

To look in the mirror and recognize the face staring back at me.

My all-time favorite bumper sticker is still "MY KARMA RAN OVER YOUR DOGMA."

The runner up is actually on one of the cars here at the apartment building I live in: "I still miss my ex. But my aim is improving."

 8)

Really? Where did you learn that? This was the question that used to fry my circuits. I mean, it would really throw me for a loop. In those long ago ages when I didn't even know about AS, I would get into many conversations that would end with "Where did you learn that?" And every time the question...

Kind of reminds me of a really great James Taylor song "Hey Mister, That's Me Up On the Jukebox" : Southern California That's as blue as a boy can be Blue as the deep blue sea Want you listen to me now? I need your golden gated cities Like a hole in the head Just like a hole in the head, I'm free .....

I really love the 1950's era architechture.

All those right angles, sharp odd angles and long or tall & flat angles get me silly. The use of so much glass.

Each and every goddamn night of my life is spent tossing and turning at night as my mind races in thought. I have always tried my hardest to stop but I am can't ever stop it. My mind just races and races. Always churning. Always... I have always had a difficult time getting to sleep. Coupled with th...

I don't think anyone in my town would even give a s**t. They wouldn't run you down and say (in my best Bam Margera impression) "Look. There goes that retard!" But neither would they even bother talking to you about AS. No one really gives a crap about anything in my town.

You know, I'm just tired of feeling like I've been tossed in the trash just because I'm an adult. If I had been diagnosed with AS as a kid, I would have had a legion of agencies fawning over me. But now that I'm an adult, these same agencies just consider me invisible. The world - they want to save ...

My mother was 24 and my Father was 44.

I don't have AS because of my father's age. I have AS because my father is an Aspie.

And his parents, my grandparents, were in their late 20's when they gave birth to my dad.

I used to listen to her back in tha day, back when she was insanely popular and she had a song in every movie soundtrack. The first time I ever heard one of her songs was in the Steve Martin movie "L.A. Story" years and years ago. Her song made that movie. "On Your Shore" was the that track. Thinkin...
