I haven't paid for a haircut in ten years. I am going bald and I think it looks really ugly. I look like a laughing joke when I let my hair grow out. I don't want to look like one of those really vain balding guys growing out the last clump of hair on their heads in some sad attempt to hold on to th...

As long as it didn't involve killing, raping or anything bad at all - I wish that everyone on Earth could live the perfect day for just one day. No hurt, no sorrow, no grief, no starving, no death, no pain - only joy for everyone.

On another board, my signature used to be "I AM THE KILLER OF THREADS!! !"

And it was true. A thread would be red hot until I posted. And then suddenly the thread would just stop in its tracks. I kill a lot of threads. I am nothing but bad luck.

I had a close friend just absolutely disappear on me one day and besides talking to him on the phone day for about 1 minute. After that he just vanished. He moved out of town. Stopped answering his phone. Wouldn't return any e-mails. There are a few things I play back in my mind that could be the re...

I used to be on Adderall. I ended up not being able to tolerate it very well. It works really good but there is a trade off. For me, the side effects started to kick in after a few months of use. In a word, it started making me crazy. The Amphetamines do work great but I began to suffer even worse i...

My obsessions do change over time. For the first 30 years of my life, creating art was my obsession. I used to look at my talent as a God-given gift that seemed to have been given to me. But I'm sitting here, 36 years old, and despite being a lifelong artist, the thought of picking up some more art ...

The odd thing about this story is that Chuck Palanhiuk (who wrote Fight Club) wrote a raunchy short story - "Guts" about a guy who died after suffering the same injury as the young girl. He went around the nation reading the short story to crowds. People were regularly passing out or puking because ...

It works like this for me: At NO time am I allowed to make an ass of myself, At NO time am I allowed to blow up and cause a scene. At NO time am I allowed to show my anger. Because once a crack in my steely exterior begins to show, it's already too late. A little crack turns into a full-on meltdown....

I am ULTRA sectretive about my AS so I just don't tell anyone. However, I have been thinking about getting a job working with my fiance's father. Having just found out about my AS from my fiance, her father must have told another guy her father works with. He's a nice guy. Before he knew I had AS he...

I'm an Aspie. I have never spoken to another Aspie in real life and I simply do not socialize with people. I am a friendly person but the thoght of willfully mingling with other people makes me panicy.

I am the clumsiest guy EVER. I swear to you that my mortal enemy on this Earth are door latches. I am catching myself on one many times daily. All day. Every day. All week long. All year, since I was old enough to wear jeans. I have ruined an unthinkably large amount of jeans because I snag them on ...
