And you figure that the fact that they REALLY believe it means they are innocent? So it isn't an arbitrary conspiracy against a person, but an instinctual one against a group. WHOOPEE! Frankly, that doesn't make any difference to me.

This is something that has been peeving me forever, and I get a lot of crap. I don't run and don't like to run, when I run, I can be clumsy and fall and injure myself. I get crap for this. Being told I don't know how to hustle and what not. Does anyone hate running for this reason? I just wanted to...

thinking on it, 1:250 isnt so bad. Probably half of them will be male anyway, so thats 125.. a good chunk will probably be gay as well, which takes away another 40 say.... we're already on 85. I imagine at least 5 will be immediate family, and another ten once removed, so thats 70. If you take out ...

Esperanza is right. You don't give enough information to even SUSPECT that the person is ANYWHERE on the spectrum.

"supposed" to socialise is an NT myth. I've never found forcing it to end up with anything other than an uncomfortable situation and me feeling like a tool. A degree of human contact is a good thing, but its not the be all and end all of things. It was by being stereotypically anti-social that I ac...

I don't get annoyed about ppl not listening to me and then having to come back to me for a solution. Makes me feel smart as it's satisfying knowing I was right in the first place  Sometimes they DO do that. Other times, they go somewhere else, and THEY come to me. If I provide help I may neve...

Its a strikingly nihilistic attitude to assume that all AS kids are going to be complete social pariahs who will never be happy/get laid/have fun/lead productive lives. But it's a statistically correct attitude. I understand the "get laid" part, but the rest is certainly not statistically correct. ...

Nice thought! :D For the AS males, that would solve FOUR problems in one fell swoop! It's almost a shame that honor, economics, society, and hygiene dictate that the males should stick to one woman. 8-( I mean men don't have to physically wait 9 months to have only a chance at perhaps only one chil...

I have been in the EXACT SAME PLACE! I didn't know about AS, and my friends, such as they are, STILL don't know about AS, etc... If your friends are so close, and know about your problems, try asking them why they ignore you, etc... MAYBE they can help you. Still, I have that SAME sort of problem. J...

If we keep breeding amongst ourselves, as in Silicon Valley and my hometown near Microsoft, this will no longer be an issue. I fully intend to have a large family. Nice thought! :D For the AS males, that would solve FOUR problems in one fell swoop! It's almost a shame that honor, economics, ...

If it is a friend or a partner, someone with AS who also understands me. If it is a teacher or co-worker etc... then NT. WOW, why would you prefer NT for a teacher or coworker? As for me, I guess I would prefer someone, as a friend coworker or spouse, that is mild AS like I am. Special abilities wo...

Just imagine if everyone home schooled their children what could be done with all the money spent on k thru 12 schools 8O the money could do wonders along with freeing up all that labor which could be put to better use and if the older teenagers without the academic skills weren't vegitating in som...

I know at times that I have done both. I DO think that repeating the same word is close to and sometimes caused by the same mechanism that causes stuttering which I have ALSO done sometimes. Luckily it has all been so inobvious, and I catch it quick enough that I don't think anyone else even noticed...

I don't even think a kid could have alzheimers. You probably SHOULD correct him! NOBODY wants alzheimers, but others would probably either figure it was a malapropism or that somebody in your family or his has some real problems. Of course, he may have simply slipped up, and a gentle correction may ...

white guy  If you are saying you ARE white(aka caucasian), you could have fooled me with your rhetoric making all whites sound like RICH, RACIST, and POWERFUL! sure some people who take shop classes are smart, but it's pointless having everyone take classes they have no interest in. The shop ...
