I learned recently. I mostly play against the program on my computer. Occasionally my little brother, who is very talented with chess, but lazy. I know nothing of strategy, and would like to learn, but I don't have time.

I don't really cry much. When I'm waking up in the morning, I tear up a little. I don't know why, it isn't anything emotional. Never when I'm hurt, although I think I would if it were really, really bad. Funny thing, if I'm in a situation where I have to talk about my Asperger's and I don't want to,...

Wow.... Reading this actually makes me feel like I might be normal. I'm in eighth grade, and full grown(I think). It's really awkward because everyone is shorter than me, and kind of embarrassing, because one of my teachers keeps picking on me to get her stuff off a high shelf. Last I was measured ...

The people from your description sound like jerks. Jerks are annoying, but they are still people in life. Deal with it. I was bullied severely for three years. Most of it was by or led by one person. I know it's not right, but part of me still wants to make him suffer.

Huh. I was tried on Strattera, Concerta, Focalin, Vyvanse, and Intuniv(guanfacine). All except the last one before I was 12. I did hear of one kid at my school for whom ADHD medications never worked, just made him twitchy. Something other than Adderall might be better, keep in mind that not all drug...

Little Hebrew here, but can't type because I can't read without nikkudim(vowels), and I don't have Hebrew Keyboard.

Hablo un poquito de Español. Me gustaria ir al España.

I was hyperverbal at a young age. I did have a small problem with going back a phrase in my speech and revising it, which is now all but gone, and only comes out when I am extremely stressed.

I'm not, but my brother fits the type 3 description perfectly. He taught himself to read, and appeared really weird and Autistic-like when he was little(or so people have told me, I'm two years younger than him). Now he's normal in social interaction and stuff, just smart and ADHD. I'm another story...

Wow. I really admire you for doing that. They should show that at my school for Autism Awareness Month, instead of all the "Autistic children do not feel pain or fear danger" crap that I think they get from Autism Speaks. I hope to meet with a school administrator to discuss changing it soon. I like...

So what are your parents like? I'm wondering because at the moment I kind of hate mine, but I know that in some areas, they are really awesome. Questions to get your ideas started.... Do you think that they are good or bad overall? How has your view of them changed over time? What do your parents th...

I used to have really bad posture, and take big steps. It was weird. I became more self confident, and now my walk is different. One of my friends said that I have a very unfeminine walk. The interesting thing is, I can modify it at will.

I have read your whole post and don't see where the RATIONAL part comes from?? Specific phobias allways seem to be a bit rational to the person who has it...! But there are not. Rational? My fear of deep water(anything over ten feet where I can't see the bottom) seems totally irrational to me. Espe...

By the criteria listed at the start of the thread, somewhere between light and moderate. Really good social people can tell usually, if I try to act normal most people can't. I don't like acting normal though, I prefer me as myself.

Meltdowns? I'm diagnosed Aspie, and I don't really get them. Sure, I have my "Asperger's rage cycle" thing, where I get so angry that I really need to just go away from everyone and everything for a little while(fortunately I've learned to recognize this) and woe betide anyone who gets in my way. My...
