I'd be interested to hear if it happened. Not really a linguist, just like learning languages.

I write stuff. I know about that and considered it, but I can't because I have school, various after school activities, and my parents keep confiscating my computer. Which makes it hard to write in general. It's an awesome idea though, maybe I'll be able to next year.

I wear sunglasses only when it's sunny out, or when I really feel I need something to hide my eyes behind. When I'm going for friendly social interaction, I try not to wear sunglasses, because my eyes and surrounding area are the most expressive part of my face. I also really, really don't like anyt...

What eventually helped was closing the door to the closet, taking all large objects off the floor, and turning to face the wall w...

I hear you there. I have to read a book that is essentially high school social lives and I'm struggling with doing the analysis that the teacher wants us to do. It's not something that I can do well.

That's another thing. Is it worth it for me to do a presentation? I'm afraid that it will lower people's respect for me, not that I have far to fall anyways, still. I'm also concerned that teachers will judge me on it, an even worse prospect. There is one high functioning kid who did a presentation ...

I've had many girlfriends, these days however I prefer to stay single. I don't see the point of relationship anymore as it only results in people hurting each other and the loss of what was originally a good female friend.. I've never had a boyfriend, I'm still somewhat closed off to the ide...

So I posted about this a while back. My school does Autism Awareness Month in April. Past two years it was horrible, all the Autism Speaks "facts" about Autism, Autistic children don't feel pain, have no emotional understanding, et cetera. I talked with the school psychologist, who is running it thi...

If it can mess with my brain, I'm not doing it. Partially from observing drunk/high people, partially from truly horrible early experiences with having ADHD medications forced on me. Mostly because of the last one.

I have never had an aide in school. I'm actually really happy about this. I'm already seen as weird and have been bullied for it. An aide would only make it worse.
