Sometimes I feel like maybe I should be aware that women are repulsed by me and that even trying would be wrong and cause pain for everyone involved. I mean, I don't THINK that I act creepy or anything, but then again, people who are actual creeps are usually oblivious to the fact. I feel like this...

Understanding how, as aposed to what, people think can lead to an understanding of why they think what they do. I understand how people think loud and clear. That doesn't always mean that the advice is good advice though, nor does it mean that the advice makes sense or is logical. Erm. Let's consid...

he did say stuff about him being short, and I cannot believe how accusatory you all are and how you are trying to make me feel like a bad person for not enjoying being exploited and treated like an object for gratification of someone's psychological issues. I hadn't been expecting to be paraded abou...

well I know all of those things because that's what he had said about himself. We had the exchange at the time about this where I said I wasn't expecting this and could we not just hang out somewhere chilled out and he insisted that no, he was really happy to have a gorgeous tall (I'm 5'5") woman to...

OMG Nambo, that is awful. I hope you have found a way to overcome all that. My parents tried to be really really good about everything but they sort of didn't take into account that I wasn't like them so ended up grossing me out a lot. I didn't receive a message that it is OK to be on your own if th...

For me even self-diagnosing has been helpful and made me feel less like a failure as an individual. I had been pushed relentlessly by my mother and nobody even allows me to say I am socially awkward because I can perform sometimes and seem like I fit in and everything is fine. But it is a performanc...

I think it's difficult for women also. I'm not just speaking for myself here, but based on the experience of my NT female friends. The whole dating world is very confusing and it sort of changes depending on how old you are and stuff like that. And also people change their minds mid situation. Men a...

I think it's just that you do a lot of projecting. If only that were all. I wouldn't want anyone to take any wrong lessons from my personal experience and deduce that if they are a woman they shouldn't date short guys or anything like that. I do feel bad that I haven't made this point clear.

it doesn't suggest anything, stop being such a grumps, octobertiger. I can only speak from my own personal experience - every single short guy (bar one - and he was lovely) that I know has a massive chip on their shoulder about their height. That makes it difficult to enjoy their company as a friend...

I love my cats so much. LOL @ rhinocat and velcro kitty I have three and they all have such different personalities, even the brother and sister duo, although together they are a lot more similar when compared to the oldest big boy. They are all in the room with me now which is a sign that winter is...

Yeah, it was because I could never get used to your 'unique' sense of humour... :alien: (she never went down on me once, people. Note to self - get a pre nup, next time) Actually, the sense of humor was the one thing me and the ex definitely did have in common. 'Unique' such as it is. Really miss t...

I would also point out as well that when a girl is interested in you, it is up to the guy to keep the interest level high. Once her interest level drops below a certain level, there isn't a damn thing you can say, do, or any new hobby to engage in that will ever convince her to be interested in you...

Or, you challenge her a bit to be interesting. That way, she's investing in you, then she thinks you're worth it (which you are)... If she can't be interesting, she's not worth it - she's failed your tests. Why would you want a boring long-term partner? It's straightforward, really. Date more like ...

My mother was horrified. But not near as much as when she caught me playing Monopoly by myself as 4 different players. Which I still do occasionally. Ha!, I used to do this, but only as two players, people could never understand how I could and not cheat, I would however play each role as best as I...
