That is normal. It takes conditioning to do physical work. Being retired, I can do a little at a time and build up my conditioning to do difficult tasks like lifting a car battery to take to the dump. Cooking can make ordinary food less boring. Tonight I made SPAM Musubi from a Hawaiian recipe. Addi...

Cooking can be a very cheap hobby, depending on where you live. The supermarkets around me have loss leader sales to get you into the store. I recently bought London Broil for $2 per pound and made steak garlic bites. 6 oz of steak is $.75, much cheaper than fast food takeout! It does require a bit ...

Due to the high cost of IVF, multiple embryos are transferred at the same time.
This isn't as necessary now that testing of embryos has improved.
Tech is constantly improving when there is big money to be made.

But one thing is most certain; we all hate itchy stabbing tags. In my sewing days I'd use a seam ripper to re-do mistakes. I wonder if anyone here uses a seam ripper to remove those tags? Some skill is required to avoid putting holes in clothes. I'd certainly practice on some less desirable clothes...

I've recently seen skimpy crop tops and short shorts that show almost as much skin as a 2 piece bikini.
Does clothes like that help anyone with autism?

Good thing I live alone! I wear high heels at home on hardwood floors!
I find it helps my balance and coordination!
When you get to my age that often becomes a health issue.

A good pair of heels will grab the attention of those around you.
They make a distinct sound on floors that make people stop and look!

They are great for fashion. I have shoes in different colors to do different things with my outfits.
These days I often wear shoes with a floral accent.

Former President Trump was taunting the gunman, standing up and shaking his fist after the assasination attempt. This is poor judgement, a President should be trying to minimize, not maximize, the carnage from such a horrific event. Every shot fired into a crowded venue is likely to cause serious ha...

Sound to me like she wanted to change you and that doesn't happen in real life. Only in fictional stories and movies.

Now she is gaslighting you.

Beware. Stay away.

If I understand Trump's court filings, the President has immunity to illegal acts.
So, it doesn't matter whether or not the President's rhetoric triggered someone, as he has immunity.
Trump, on the other hand, isn't President right now, so the playing field is not level.

I just learned about flu-flu arrows so I may be able learn how to shoot a bow and arrow in my back yard!
They are limited range arrows for shooting at aerial targets.

As I gain experience I can deal with more external factors, such as a group of kids learning to play golf on the other half of the chipping green. As well as more static variables like ground slope and turf conditions.

Does confidently hitting a golf ball with a lefty club count as learning something new if you are one of the many here who are cross dominant? It took me about a week of serious practice to go from something I could do occasionally to something I could count on being able to do consistently.

There used to be a big problem with water in the basement but I fixed it! I added a lot of plants with active root system that soak up water. There is a pollarded weeping willow fifty feet from the house. About 15 feet tall. Now there is just a trickle of water that enters a window and leaves via th...

Are there folks on the autism spectrum that are good at managing their work/life balance like that doctor that works from 9 to 4? I met a nurse on a golf course that makes house calls. Her schedule allows her to play golf during the week when it is less crowded. She was rather tall and played softba...

Relationships are often initiated by non verbal communication.
Someone who is autistic may not relalize that a potential partner is signalling them non-verbally and thus ignores the overtures that person is making.
