I might imagine that your coworkers rarely think of you at all. Sure they do! Whenever they need a favor, or a deadline is approaching, or one of the sod-heads trying to trouble-shoot a system can't seems to tell his elbow from a hole in the ground - that's when they think of me. Meh ... it's a reg...

glad to hear fnord, that you rose above your intitial difficulties. always very significant when i hear that. wonderful stuff. But it's a somewhat lonely existance. While my co-workers are schmoozing the customers and vendors, I'm stuck in the lab developing our next systems and testing their new p...

There's a place in Huntington Beach that makes these things (and things is what they are). Some of us toured their facility with the idea of adapting some of their technology to a Hallowe'en robot, since touching one is like touching a corpse. It was repulsive , even though the particular model we l...

I predict that Micro$oft will adjust to web standards just as much as the "Big Three" automakers adjusted to the demands of their respective marketplace.

That is, not at all, until it's too late.

There is something about women's postures that catches my eye whenever they wear high heels. The way they walk in heels is also fascinating to watch.

Guys in heels look comical to me, especially when they walk. I have to stifle my laughter whenever I see one of my friends in drag.

Neurotypicals who are full of themselves, and teens who are selective in their listening ... Really? I'm amazed! Who'd have thunk it? Seriously, you are immersed in an NT/Teen environment, and I do not envy you in the least. I hope that you can endure to the end of the seminar without the oth...

In the beginning, my experiences were much the same as yours. A stint as a homeless person is what inspired me to make whatever I had going on work for me. A hitch in the military gave me the mental and emotional discipline that enabled me to make it happen. Education and determination made it all h...

The way I see it, there are only 3 possible origins for sexual identity: Genetics. A person's sexual identity is coded into their DNA. The formation of reproductive organs and secondary sexual characteristics is mainly determined by DNA coding. Imprinting. During a child's formative years, environme...

Christian fundamentalists should STOP having children. They should just kill themselves and rid the Universe of their delusional filth. Hold on there! Let's not commit the same "sins" as the fundies by demanding their deaths. Let's instead work to ensure that our publically-funded educati...
