Thank you for all your responses. She actually berated me for quite some time accusing me of all the evil things that she was projecting onto me about herself. Interestingly though, two days later, she apologized and said that she overreacted when she felt offended because her life is so stressful. ... |

Scientific studies do indicate that autistic college students on average will be more logical than their allistic counterparts, they will not be swayed by different frames. For example, experimenters may ask college educated students whether they would take a bet if they have a 20 percent chance of... |

Hi: I have been finding that some autistic friends of mine and their parents think that all spectrumites need to be exempt from getting jury duty because they don't think they would be able to understand the technical terms. It makes me mad because many individuals often fight for social justice, a... |

My disability lawyer likes to send me things about Autism that she learns or finds out about. I am the only Autistic person that she has ever known so everything she knows about Autism, she has pretty much learned from me. She told me about some genetic testing that she just learned about and I was ... |

I just took the Aspie quiz again. That's the spiderweb one. The last time I had taken it was ten years ago. Ten years ago, my aspie score was 138 out of 200 and my nt score was 95 out of 200. Today my aspie score was 153 out of 200 and my nt score was 67 out of 200. |

I think your friend was highly anxious about driving to the airport or navigating the route, but she didn’t want to tell you. She wanted to appear confident. It was easier for her to treat you like you were an inexperienced driver rather than her. You might be right! She doesn't normally come acros... |

This is going to be hard to talk about without me rambling, but here goes... One of my great passions as someone autistic is Disney, especially Disney parks (Disneyland in particular). One thing I like to do is come up with new parks for other places in the world. The problem is that I like to be v... |

She told me she couldn't hear the directions because she was too engrossed in her conversation with her son, while also trying to converse with me at the same time. And she was concerned about MY driving???? You should receive a medal of honor for enduring this psychological warfare against you :D ... |

As someone autistic, I often overthink things and wonder if imagination is really a waste of time, as you obviously can't "see" into an imagination. I've also heard that imaginary friends have been made illegal, thanks to a recent trend in child-rearing that argues that imaginary friends ... |
