I have never once done anything special or recieved any gifts for my birthday (actually a friend drew me a lovely picture for my birthday once, that was very sweet), so I can't exactly say what I "would" think about it if it had been any sort of signifigant event in my life. But here are some though... |

You need to PM a mod if you think someone is being inappropriate. I believe this type of post can be seen as a personal attack on that member. Especially if you are wrong. |

I don't understand why people don't take me seriously :? I'm not vauge at all about what I expect and want from a relationship. I flat out state it and explain. The person to whom I'm talking accepts the conditions. Then a few months down the road, the conditions aren't being met and I bring it up a... |

I have mixed feelings about myself. I try to be the best that I can be but I'm not particularly satisfied with the results. At the same time.. I'm content to be me.

Oh yeah, definately cords. I used to chew on my headphone cord every time I sat at my computer. I was gentle but I still frayed it and broke them |

I'm not really sure this forum does much about explaining the "aspie point of view" and how it relates to the NT point of view. Occasionally there are in-depth topics that an NT will get in on and have an interesting discussion but for the most part its a sounding board for people who have something... |

Why do I keep getting myself involved with self-absorbed jerkwards who have themselves (and at first me) thoughroughly convinced that they're not self-absorbed jerkwards?? Why???? I don't look for "projects" I don't want a guy "I can change." So why does this keep happening?? I'm too god damn niave ... |

I think it is quite a superb variety of curse to be able to understand both the perspectives of the Aspie and the NT in any particular instance/confrontation and yet realize that you can never make either of them understand the perspective of the other. And not only that but any attempt to explain t... |

I think this is relatively common. My guess would be that bright light makes your eyes water which is pavlovian-ly associated with allergies. You sneeze because you subconsciously think your eyes are watering from a physical irritant. I never did this but I did used to sneeze if my hair had a strong... |

Is it really too much to ask for to just have a happy, drama-free life? I guess it is when you're married to an Aspie who insists on being social and yet refuses to follow the rules of socialization *sigh*
