How common is it for people on the spectrum to be prescribed xanax, valium, or ativan?

When I get really stressed it feels like my brain needs a benzodiazepam otherwise I kind of pace in a circle and fixate on things. I really think I need to be prescribed a benzo of some sort to be honest.

I repeat what someone says involuntarily sometimes, and I didn't know it was related to autism until about the last 6 months. Always thought it was weird. I still do it but I'm less hard on myself when I do it now. It's just a symptom of autism, I don't think we can change that. Am I wrong?

Guess we now know that liberals are the ones that advocate violence not conservatives. Not exactly... Walker's cronies thought "A false flag operation would assist in undercutting any support that the media may be creating in favor of the unions." http://www.wisconsinwatch.org/2011/03/24/email-to-w...

I honestly need to be on anti-anxiety medication and no amount of hypnosis will ever change this need because of my neurochemistry that DEMANDS GABA neurotransmitter when I get stressed out.... it's pretty obvious that I have autism when I get stressed. You're honestly crazy for talking about heroin...

Hate to be hypochondriac but it kind of resembles turretts, doesn't it? I really don't know. It's like social anxiety makes me tick sometimes.

I get this these nervous ticks, mostly when I'm around people sometimes. Mostly just arm and neck ticks, but it's minor. Is this related to autism? You people get this too? edit: like I'm more likely to do it in public or if I'm around people because it makes me nervous sometimes. If I could stim ev...

Perhaps if you were distraught because of autism and needed something to calm you down.

Doesn't sound like it tho, OP, otherwise you would have said that.

Curtis LeMay for some reason I can't explain, I enjoyed reading his autobiography. Very logical man. He was all substance and no form, I can kind of relate to him. I wouldn't use the word "idolize", I just understand him. I kind of understand Einstein's personality as well as the fascination Carl Sa...

Worst thing pot does: You pig out on a pizza while watching comedy central and then bake a marrie calenders apple pie.

Been sober for far too long this week, it needs to be legalized already. Plain and simple: It's illegal because anyone can grow it for free.

Good point, guess I do have empathy because I find these things disturbing and US foreign policy morally repugnant. That's a really good point.

It's people like you who are the greatest threat to freedom and democracy in America. You are part of the problem to why normal Americans are increasingly becoming radicalized, because your type of thinking leads to repression. Have you been noticing in the news that Federal marshals are increasingl...
