My family and I aren't attached like we should be. Connecting with them socially and emotionally comes off very hard to do for me. Avoiding events, not giving presents, not calling are some of the things I do because I don't know how to express how I feel or think alot of times. I barely even know ... |

Regarding the empathy. I think we are able to show empathy even in the extreme excess if we have been in the same situation.
The problem is lack sympathy. |

I was bullied all the way through elementary school and your equivalent junior high. As I entered high school I learned to laugh of myself building up a huge amount of irony on myself. The bullies stopped gradually. I also started working out at a gym by myself, becoming bigger and stronger than all... |

This is quite interesting. I thought I was alone with being disconnected from my family. I forgot to mention in my post that in my family there is no knowledge about autism.
Maybe we'd been better off being raised the same way as K-paxians (for those who have seen the movie). |

I'm curious about the relation people have with their family members. In relation to this I am also curious about the knowledge about autism within the families. I can start with myself. Since my parents split up about 9 years ago I have lost some connection with closest family. I currently live abr... |

I don't consider myself an Athiest because I do believe in reincarnation, but not in God.
You can be an atheist and still believe in reincarnation. |

This is a serious problem in my studies. The curriculum is not defined or given in any books, but rather presented orally. Being able to filter out the essential from all the gibberish and chit-chat given by the lecturer is quite exhausting. |

One probelm with the herding instinct defining NTs: I know several 'NTs' who don't form into cliques/herds/etc. As I said in another post, perhaps humanity is better grouped into followers, leaders, and those who are neither (in social things). 'NTs' as complained about here would fit the follower ... |
