It may have improved, and is more okay to talk about in some places and medias, and some laws have improved. Some places are still ignorant of other sexualities or personalities. Bathrooms are still a big issue for me, I often get mistaken for the wrong sex and people flip out and call security and... |

Yeah, I figured it out. The part I found funny was that I hadn't realized that before I read it, and how not realizing that it might be offensive is yet another thing that points to me being on the spectrum. Cool. 8) And yep. I know the feeling. I had a lot of realizations like that while reading T... |

One thing I kinda laughed about was after I read it a couple times and thinking about this line: "If he comes to my house and brings his computer, I do not take offense but instead am happy to have him visit." Then I thought about it, and I was like "Wait.... So, most people would find this offensi... |

Hmmmm. You seem to know a lot about sophisticated, alcoholic, mixed drinks for being Autistic. Why would being Autistic preclude one form knowing drink recipes? :? I bartended for about 5 years in the past and may do it again for the money. Granted, most of the time I wasn't making overly complicat... |

Not me exactly, but I know an Aspie like this. You're not alone.
Most people may give up on you, but not everyone. Just keep trying and trying again until you meet someone you're compatible with no matter how long it takes. |

Some of the best places to approach and meet women are where they normally wouldn't expect to be approached by men (i.e. shopping mall, book store, library etc.). It sounds silly but you can just walk up to them and say something like 'I just thought you looked beautiful, so I wanted to say hello' ... |

That's pretty cool. Reminds me of when I first read "The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome," and realized the way I was.. and I felt extremely fortunate to have certain friends in my life despite my differences. On the flip side of the coin, I've also learned to recognize these same differences ... |

Also you shouldn't just work hard but work smart Absolutely. Working smart is where the money's at. I intend to work hard by day (and smart; construction) & then use my earnings to invest wisely and grow my wealth. Eventually I'll transition into doing more and more of my own contracting, then ... |

I am sorry I didn't mean to say he doens't have a right to go outside, but if he needs to stim so noticeably for 15 minutes or so, then maybe he should go to a bathroom, and do it in a toilet stall away from others. Same with other asipies who think they can start clapping and rocking in public. It... |

Yes. Every day. Literally. Usually right before I fall asleep, and right when I wake up. I end & start my days thinking thoughts like these. I think about the people I love, friends, God kids etc and how nice it would be to be able to just hug and hold them in that moment. I think loving thought... |

While I tend to agree with most of this & I'm familiar with fractional reserve banking, it is still possible to get ahead financially. People do it every day. If a relatively small percentage doing this is ok with you, then all is well. I personally think it is unacceptable. The system is desig... |
