This is the difference v disability debate. Lots of NTs including family relatives may display autistic like traits or BAP (broad autism phenotype) but they are not to the level of autism or where it is a serious problem impacting independent life or employment prospects, this is particularly true ...

Exactly. ^ No one should tell us how we should be, or how we should feel / cope on any given day. Both words are applicable and can be interchangeable or true at the same time. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Sometimes I don't want to use either one for myself, because I just want to be &quo...

I haven't experienced much victim-blaming irl except from myself when I self-gaslight. The main thing I've experienced, which is a type of covert victim-blaming, is trauma shaming. That occurs when people suggest I should just "get over it" and not let it "bother" me, or they sug...

Thanks.
Everyone's sick here so I thought I might be catching something but I'm fine now.
It only lasted an hour or two.

The Canadian Cognitive Abilities Test (CCAT) is a reasoning assessment used to determine a student's eligibility for admissions into Gifted and talented programs. It is a group-administered intelligence test given in Canada to students in grades K-12. The CCAT 7 measures verbal, nonverbal, and quan...

I don't want to divert the topic too much, but you mentioned taking D3. Do you also take K2, because they should generally be taken together for better absorption. I've been seeing a Naturopath in the past year and found a lot of benefit from Omega 3s and methylated B-Complex as well as a few others...

I loved the story and the characters. It became really sentimental to me because of my friendship with another autistic person. The scene with all the letters on the wall still makes me tear up.

That being said, I can't stand computer animation and had a VERY hard time watching it visually.

I attempted to have ginger ale but I've been lightheaded with the shakes so I couldn't hold the can over the glass.
I poured it all over my desk instead.
My daughter rescued me by bringing ice water (and a towel).
Everyone's been sick lately so I hope I'm not catching it.
