^^^^^Oh God,you have no idea. And not fair either. They played like Attila the Hun did.I'm talking hoving rocks at each other. But gibbons exhibit the same behavior so I guess it toughened them up. I take it you have no kids.Well mine were burning holes in beer cans with sparklers and sliding down thes...

^^^^Some of the wisest people I know say around the court house lawn whittling, there would be a huge pile of shavings at their feet.If you listened to them talk they sounded like ignorant Arkansas hicks, but if you really listened you could learn a lot. They would not have considered themselves intell...

I had a pet turkey that knew her reflection was just that.
For the majority of this life I watch the animals in my yard, and I'm in a remote area.
I've even had bears in the yard, most animals are way more connected to what's going on around them than any human.

AnniPierrot, Kids at that age are stupid herd animals,I've been there.Don't let them get to you,I know this is easier said than done.Don't give them that satisfaction.Living well is the best revenge. You are also dealing with all the s@*t that comes with being your age. Would I go back and be your a...

The funny thing is all those jokes were told to me by a church deacon.

The thing here was you had to get your own switch.Peach tree whips I suppose are the preferred utensil.Kids had to pick out their own punishment. But kids that have siblings are tougher,I've seen them hit each other with rocks!! ! 8O And roll around on the ground fighting, like REALLY fighting!! ! I ...

Again, homegrown Timothy McVeigh wanna be. A real terrorist would not have set the bombs on the ground.A park bench or higher to send the shrapnel into the body cavity, and then the second bombs would have went off right when the emergency workers arrived. Bet they are white and American, who else woul...

I know of horses that were starved to death,I've called the cops over it. Horses are not worth a lot of money here,I could buy one for a hundred dollars. A horse that's taken care of is going to have womer in its system, and stuff for flies and ticks. But people that don't care don't do these things,...

I'm against slaughter of any animal if it's done in an inhumane method. But horses are no different from cattle or chickens.I've seen starving horses and reported them to the police, who very seldom do something,I'd rather someone sell them and they have a quick humane death than to slowly starve in a...

I did not get spanked as a toddler,my Dad was a PTSD vet who had served on Attu. His remarks on spanking were that he was afraid to ever hurt another human being with his hands.Later on I did get whipped with a belt by another family member.I didn't learn anything but that I now hated them. But my e...

That's quite ridiculous. It simply promotes ease of location for consumers. I know when I want refried beans and corn tortillas, I go to the Mexican Foods aisle. I'd hate to have to locate things by ingredient (corn aisle for tortillas, which would also be inundated with cereals, canned corn, froze...

"We are turning into a nation of whimpering slaves to fear----fear of war, fear of poverty, fear of random terrorism, fear of getting down-sized or fired because of the plunging economy, fear of getting evicted because of bad debts,or suddenly locked up in a military camp on vague charges of being a ter...
