I don't think we will ever see another civil war in the US. Any rebellion would be ruthlessly crushed by the military first. The military is made up of people. Their views are probably as opposed to the other as the rest of the population's. If the States start shifting, who knows what will happen....

I can understand why anyone with a sex drive might find having a sex friend appealing. Personally, the all or nothing relationship is what makes my life worth living. I have only limited experience in casual sexual relationships though. Contrary to popular myth, sailors don't really have a woman in ...

Well looks like I have gotten that dishwashing job I've mentioned being interviewed for in other posts. Doesn't start quite yet, and there will be training first but yeah I didn't think I'd find something so quick. I am certainly nervous about if I will do well or not though. Never really had a gre...

Almost forgot what I originally wanted to say. I would personally think that the height of the person choosing is also a factor. Example: I am slightly taller than the average male in the United States based on historical and current medical data. I dated females that ranged in height from 4' 11&quo...

I think we can't ignore that there is much more emphasize in woman's beauty than male beauty. This is all a myth that many of you women always love to repeat. I don't buy any of it. When for example 90% of women refuse to date men shorter than them or when the vast majority state strong preference ...

I am probably a 5-6 in the looks range, I won't end up with my face on a magazine nor do I need to put a bag over my face. I have had a few younger women make odd comments to me and they had that surprised look on their faces when they found out my age. (I still haven't figured out whether one was m...

I say that my NT wife is more attractive than me through observation of people's reactions to us, both separately and together. As a teenager and then a young adult, the reactions that I got from women was a mixed bag. In teen years I was generally considered rather unattractive thanks to the awful ...

I wanted to find out if I was odd in this regard. I guess I am as odd as the next person. When my grandfather passed, I was one of his pallbearers. I loved him and admired him. My grandmother always told me I was so much like him in that I thought so differently from everyone else in the family. Kno...

Over the years, I have taken this test several times and have come up differently almost every time. This time the results were INTJ Introvert over Extrovert - 72% (distinct preference) Intuition over Sensing - 34% (moderate preference) Thinking over Feeling - 3% (marginal or no preference) Judging ...

Since I retired from the Navy, I have held 6 jobs, but I have applied for hundreds. There are so many websites out there. Indeed is a personal favorite as I landed my last two jobs through it. There are several others such as http://www.monster.com , http://www.CareerBuilder.com , and http://www.sim...

I would have to say that I am walking on the milder side of AS. Traits: -Stims (pacing, picking at my skin) -Some discomfort with eye contact, often miss what the person is trying to convey because I'm trying not to be rude by staring or "failing to pay attention". Unable to "get it' ...

I'm not sure that executive function wasn't taught. My two Aspergers kids didn't bother to learn study skills because they could waltz through school barely cracking a book. But in college, you can't do that as easily, and their performance suffered. Study skills include organization, planning (for...
