I use my username online whenever I create a new account. And my twitter has my real name(I originally did it for SEO value) so when you google me, you'll get my name. It's long past the time when I could take this decision back, so I try not to worry about it too much. you have actual concern abou...

Honestly, since AS is out of the DSM, professional diagnosis is not something that will help. I found this community because I took a self assessment online, and I kept having specific memories from when I was a child about the questions they had. So, take the need for professional diagnosis with a ...

Insects are well known to form Barbershop Quartets. Unfortunately, their voices are too high pitched for humans to hear.

If you put cheese into a blender spinning at approximately half the speed of light, it will revert back to high quality milk. Unfortunately, this only works on cheese made from cows. No one has been able to determine why other animals cheeses don't respond the same way.

Tesla is my all time hero. He made some of his greatest discoveries while in a laboratory less than a 10 minute drive from where I grew up so I have always been interested in his work. Thank for posting this.

If I have, I didn't(and don't) know that they were coming on to me. I'd pretty much need a woman to explicitly state she was interested in me for me to know it wasn't something else.

A quick update: I'm 2 weeks off my last line and a week sober. I haven't beaten this yet, but this is the longest I've been without in several months. I'm not saying I'll never do it again, but I won't do it today. One day at a time is cliche, but it's true. Not today.

When I am sober, I am asexual. I feel no attraction to anyone, and no desire to pursue any type of relationship with women, men, or other. The thing is, I do cocaine and when I'm on it, I want to hook up with other men. I enjoy it. But, as soon as I am once again sober these feelings disappear. I'm ...

Sabertooth was decapitated by Wolverine by the Muramasa Blade. His soul was shown in hell. Yet, he came back. I have abandoned comics as a form of entertainment because they don't take continuity seriously. I will not read any of these comics when they come out, nor will I read them when they come o...

Jupiter is actually made of the farts of a billion people belonging to a lost civilization called "the bringer of Giants" who lived in Mesoamerica in the 11th century AD and ate a diet consisting of nothing but cheese and beans. Their gasses were trapped in clay pots that were launched aboard a rock...

Yes. I feel nothing when people around me die. Even my own father. I know should, but I just don't. I just say in my head "that person's gone and I will never see them again." and move on with my day.

All the time. The only thing that stopped me was the realization that most people's opinion of me doesn't matter and therefore I don't care if they're wrong or say something stupid. It's only those people in my life I care about that I correct or speak my mind to.

The BBC recently did a story about people with Williams Syndrome(1). They describe it as the "opposite of autism" with people affected by low IQ, being very talkative, and naive to the point of it being detrimental to them. What are your thoughts on this story? I think framing it as the "opposite" o...
