Hey, tall-p, do you peel your carrots before you put them in a carrot cake? This is something I was wondering when I was thinking about making carrot cake recently. Original question Obviously (well, maybe not so obviously) I am not employed as a chef, although there was a point in my life I conside...

There is no proof that god exists, but there is also no proof that god doesn't exist. However, I like to think that if there was a god, he/she/it would sort out the world and stop all the religious wars and such. At the minute, it seems that religion causes more wars than it creates ( although I kno...

I like fiction. I prefer to read books which aren't set in modern day, or are clearly set in a different universe. When the crossover between what I expect could happen in real life, and what the book does can't mix, I either read the book at a snails pace or give up reading it alltogether. Most rec...

Everyone would find it difficult on their first attempt/day whatever. Just go with whatever happens, it's simple enough. ( or words to that effect)

Oh, and on a (slightly) unrelated idea (from the xenoblade theme anyway) The Ico soundtrack (the entire soundtrack. Yeah. But especially Castle in the mist/melody in the mist. I'm not sure which is the real title, both are given on differ...

I have a YouTube account, but I've never uploaded anything. Maybe in a hundred years or so ;)

I do really like watching some of the people's covers/vlogs of the channels I subscribed to. I think I've got just the right number of people to get new videos on average about 1 every day :)

If I'm eating something with a not too strong taste, and I can smell something else sometimes I can actually taste the other thing in my mouth instead or as well as what I'm actually eating. It's weird, but I think it means my sense of smell and taste are definitely connected. Whether this is the ca...

Well, it's only been reviewed by critics 4 times, but the metacritic score is 68, which isn't too bad at all. Ive never even heard of farming simulator before, although I don't think I would be ale to engage myself to play enough really.

Nope. I always sit on the edge of a class, often in one of only 1 or 2 seats alert after everyone else has rushed in. Fortunately, people in my school like sitting in the same spot all year, so I don't have to move once I've got my seat. Our fire alarms are in the halls, they're just extra loud. We ...

Giantbomb is a great site for this sort of thing. I've never checked if they upload any videos onto YouTube, but what they have on their site streams great anyway. They did a 24hour "quick look" when dark souls came out, and they post lots of videos of all the good games. And on a kind of unrelated ...

I'm pretty sure they are going to be purchasable exclusively from preowned sections, if they aren't already discontinued already. Once Nintendo are selling a new console for twice (or more) the price, then they will discontinue the wii. After all, the wii u will be backwards compatable, so why shoul...

No mentions of anything on my friends list posts in the Uk today or yesterday. I think it's just too irrelevant for anyone to think about. The radio did a "feature" on the election - most of the people they were talking to (just a local radio) didn't even know any other candidate names, there were s...

I have a weird phobia of telephones. I can not and I mean can not stand being on telephones for very long... (etc) Even before I entered the thread, I knew the bottom line answer was going to be "that is statistically improbable" . Having seen what the issue is... I can safely say that... no, you'r...

I prefer third person, but I can play in first person if I like the game. The problem is I tend to associate rubbish shooters with the first person, so it's much harder to get me to like a game in the first person. What I really have an issue with is tall third person characters, who walk on the lef...
