Confessing that I didn't watch the video, so simply speaking to the headline in general. People with a lot of wealth can get divorced from reality, in my experience. And they also tend to attribute all their success to their own talent and work, without understanding how much luck and timing is alwa...

Nowhere in this post were middle school children specified or harmed. And nowhere in my replies were middle school children targeted. I think that if a kid wants to compete as the opposite gender there should be a 3 year minimum wait with feminizing hormone administration to avoid the situation tha...

Is it too late to put this derailed thread back on track? Well, it is a contradiction of the right to claim they are pro-life while hunkering down on policies that are more damaging than affirming. What we're seeing is how they ended up in that space, why they don't see it that way. Side tracked, b...

^ young, fit, just didn't like the way her body was changing. Waited and waited... Then, she had it aborted. I offered to raise the baby, she did not want her body altered only to get pregnant again one year later and I am currently raising that child. This is how we reduce abortions, by stepping i...

@Persephone23, it's worth noting that we're generally talking about transgender children wanting to compete in sports, not adults. Just how locked in will the muscle strength of a middle school student be? The US doesn't have the ability to tell worldwide adult sports organizations how to define any...

No one can be the perfect role model 24/7...We all have our flaws. As soon as you put someone on a pedestal, the only thing left for them to do is fall off it...eventually. All any of us can do is the best we can at any given time. That will never be perfect. So you should never damn someone for a ...

Oddly, Trump is the only American president to lose personal wealth while in power. All other presidents in power gained great personal wealth. Example is Obama who more than doubled his personal wealth as a result, and I believe Biden is going to come off well out of his time as a leader? Trump los...

Biden: Trump made me do it! :D [Only read the thread title. Have not read the replies as there is no point, as the whole thing is so absurd, its childish!] The US government made a deal under Trump. The time table extended past the end of Trump's term. What's absurd is reducing the entire situation...

The problem comes when people try to mix politics and religion (of any type, even certain secular goals can become the equivalent of a religion). It is the religious aspect that determines how people view what is right and what is wrong, and freedom has always been constrained by the rule that there...

Saying "plenty of blame to go around" is not refusing to take responsibility, IMHO. It is an accurate response to someone setting you up and then trying to claim all the blame is yours. It's accepting a level of responsibility while recognizing that you were placed in an impossible positio...

Cool story. Spending over half a million dollars to suppress bad news in order to influence the outcome of an election and then covering it up is a crime, though. Soooo.. I'm glad he's getting prosecuted for it. Not accurate. Suppressing bad news isn't a crime all by itself. Reporting the hush paym...

Like it or not, this is raising money and galvanizing support. Trump's popularity was dying a natural death, until now. It's pointless to argue these points right now, you're just too hopped up on your revenge. But he lives for this stuff, he won't go to jail. And they won't bankrupt him in his lif...

Very good point on the security risks, goldfish.

Makes me realize, though, that even now security risks are increasing because his MO is retaliation when he sees himself as wronged.
