Oh boy! That original post described me from aged sixteen until my mid forties. Social skills are HARD and the only thing that can help is proper social skills training. This is something that might be available in your area but availability isn't guaranteed. One consolation, it gets a little bit be...

PR#6 was the command to turn the Apple from 40 columns to 80 columns, mainly because the video card was in slot number six. I also remember punched cards and paper tape.

Thinking back to the two movies it was a choice between Bruce Willis and Robert Duvall, and my money's on Robert.

As for the age thing, no, I probably won't see my early 80's. The old bod is starting to show its age and various bits are beginning to fail.

Well, there's a number of ways of looking at this. Firstly, aspies are people too and sometimes people contradict themselves, especially over time. Opinions sometimes change faster than a politicians promises and there's nothing we can do about it. Secondly, as Asperger's is a spectrum disorder you'...

Good idea, perhaps a section like this could be used to eliminate the endless questions along the lines of:

There's this boy/girl I like, what do I do?

Can aspies ..........? (fill in the dots)

I have ......, ....... and ....... Do I have Asperger's?

It's an interesting question. Follow one definition (someone you're romantically involved with) and I've had hundreds of girlfriends. This is not a boast, thanks to AS there is a long stream of broken relationships and it's something I'm not proud of. Next definition, someone you've had sex with, an...

Most of the chat up lines are really REALLY corny but today I heard one that sounded just right. "When I see most women I tend to hold my stomach in and wish that I was twenty years younger. You, you're different in the finest possible way, when I see you I want to write poetry". I can just imagine ...
