Every spring and summer we get these Koels that migrate down from up north. They stay here for months and start their mournful cries about midnight that go on until after sunrise. I love how they sound but many locals don't like them. |

It was raining nicely when I got up and looked like it had set in. I'm sitting on my front verandah now and it's bright sunshine and clear blue skies. At least the garden got a good water. Hope we get an afternoon storm or something. |

I can easily fall asleep after a naughty. She curls up in my arms with her head on my chest or shoulder and we both fall asleep. |

I wish private central banking and fiat currency would have never been invented.I wish actively managed mutual funds would have never been invented. What's wrong with fiat currency? What's wrong with managed funds? Why not let experts take care of a portion of your investments and actively manage t... |

Yeah, it's a lot easier on the grill, but there are only so many months in a year where outdoor grilling is feasible =) Use something like this for indoor grilling, a lot of fat falls down into the slots and drains into the tray at the front. Low and slow is my tip for grilling meat, keeps it tende... |

The concept of "status" needs to be clearly defined. Everybody has their own idea , it's too ambiguous a term. I find it amusing when people judge another and determine if that person is "successful" or not. Successful according to what criteria. Happy? Independent? Enjoy solitu... |

I really miss living in Melbourne at times Needless to say I had air conditioning and a large balcony door I could open to catch the breeze.
Tomorrow's forecast for here has been downgraded to 5-10mm most likely in the afternoon and evening. |

Needless to say I make my own cafe style burgers at home and find it quite filling and they're probably reasonably nutritious. Oh, I forgot to mention, I also hate frying up burgers (in a pan on the stove) because the grease just splatters all over the place. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong? If you n... |

So would I! The other side of 30 is when I really learned to be happy in my skin and see life for what it is. |

I pulled some rip roarers in my much younger days, details of many of these will go to the grave with me.
Needless to say I'm pleased there wasn't CCTV everywhere like there is today or the Police would have evidence of some of my antics. |

You spoke about different job options back in March TMM (7-8 months ago) Have you obtained a McJob or any other job in the meantime? You could have 6+ months experience and also money in the kitty in this time. It's much easier to find work if you already have a job. Start small working in any job a... |

I can think of nothing worse than "food" from McDonalds. Overprocessed garbage. I like a good steak or chicken thigh done for a few mins on each side on the grill. Rub it down with herbs before cooking. Toss it into a fresh bun with lots of lettuce tomato onion and beetroot. Serve with a h... |

Nope, the concept of "status" means absolutely nothing to me. I'm an everyday bloke who wears normal clothing, lives in a normal house and drives an everyday car. I don't need or want anything to make me look "important" in the eyes of others. I can think of nothing worse than be... |
