Don't set much store by the debates, as said, political theater. Obama didn't seem well prepared, Romney did. Didn't change my opinions at all.

It is occasionally acceptable to smack a little kid... Child abuse. ... but not a teenage girl. "Thou Shalt Not Hit Girls", eh? No double standards; either it is alright for anyone to beat anyone else regardless of their ability to defend themselves or survive the beating, or it is not. And on any ...

Personally, I have no problem with the touchpad on my computer. I'm not using it for gaming or anything that really needs a mouse. Even Sketchup(so much fun!) is fine with it. Other touchpads do annoy me sometimes though.

I know that I'm left brained. So I was surprised when I saw it as going clockwise the first 2 times! I answered lefty.

That would be me *evil grin*. I happen to be playing with my pet rat, when I get some milk and a cookie. I share the cookie with my rat, and the milk too. After she's eaten her fill, she ambles off and falls on the person below me; one fat, adorable, friendly rat.

An interesting note: look at the history of Americans. Essentially, they rebelled because of the actions of criminals. And I'm not talking about any British people.

Wow. I kind of like things the way they are on this side of the Atlantic, freedom of speech and the press and all. Of course, it doesn't extend to public schools. Try correcting a teacher when they're wrong, and you may find that out.

Wow.... I knew that this was going on in my nation, and did not approve, but wasn't aware of this individual situation. I, thankfully, do not live in one of the nineteen states that supports this. I think it is largely ridiculous in a modern schooling system. It is occasionally acceptable to smack a...

Wow that is incredibly awesome! I am a French horn and trombone player, and I wonder if I used to be able to, because hearing music in my head kept me awake at night for a while when I was younger.

I'm inspecting the hole in my driveway/trying to cover it up in a not too obvious way before my mom gets home when a huge pile of dirt falls on me. I drop my extra clay, tar and epoxy glue on the person below me. Canaspie, I'm sorry about the profile thing. Computer stuff is not my strong suit, and ...

Old tech is fun to find. Go to my school, and you can still find ancient projectors, all but entirely replaced by smart boards now.

I am in my driveway experimenting with the powdered remains of a soda can, rust in beach sand like consistency, and a few sparklers. As I'm about to light off my experiment, a ton of papers land on me. I drop the sparkler on the experiment, and it burns down through to the next person. If you can't ...

An interesting take I have on inheritance in my immediate family.

My older brother got the real brains
I got the deep thinking
My younger brother got the ability to function normally in society.

Lol

Can anyone hear chords in their head? I can hear the individual notes in my mind's ear(like mind's eye, except for auditory stuff), but not the chords. I have to find a keyboard for that. Sometimes, when I'm falling asleep I can, or once when I had a really high fever, but otherwise, I can't. Am I a...
