Hi again. I am also happy to hear that you are back home from the hospital again. I was thinking about you a lot while you were gone, and I was hoping that you were getting better. It is strange that your doctor gave you medications which were making you feel even worse than you were previously fee...

8O When did that happen?

It happened on Friday night. She went to the hospital for her severe depression, self-harm, and thoughts of suicide.

Looks like I'm headed to the hospital now because I wasn't sure I could be trusted alone tonight. I am very sad & sorry that you have to go to the hospital. Perhaps you are doing the right thing. I am sure that you will get the care that you need. I wish I could send you a card or flowers to sa...

I am glad that you did not act on your suicidal feelings today, but I am still sad that you feel this way. I wish there was something more I could say or do to make you feel better. Do you ever feel depressed during the holidays, or do you get in to the Christmas spirit? When I was a kid, I always l...

Now I am worried that you may hurt yourself. Maybe you should call 9-1-1. You may be correct; it could be an adverse reaction to your medications. Just try your best to distract yourself & think about something which gives you pleasure. I would be very sad if you acted on your impulses. I hope t...

It is also windy where I live tonight. Half an hour ago, my cell phone had a message warning of strong winds tonight in San Diego, but I do not remember any tornadoes here. I do not understand why our fathers are less sympathetic of our problems than our mothers are. Their jobs are to be good parent...

My experience with talking to my Dad about my problems was similar to yours. I was always more comfortable talking to my Mom about my problems. She was always more easy-going & sympathetic that my Dad; he was always more strict & stern towards me, and he used to yell at me & sometimes re...

I am sorry that you have been sleeping so badly recently, but I am glad you got a lot of rest today. When I was a kid, I always used to sleep in on the weekends. I hope the medications work for you & eliminate your suicidal thoughts. How does your father feel about you? Is he just as supportive ...

I am glad that you are back from your doctor's appointment. Are you feeling any better or relieved that you have had your appointment? Abilify did not really work for me, even after the therapist increased the dosage. I have never taken lithium, lorazepam , or sertraline before, so I do not know wha...

I have never been committed to a psychiatric hospital, so I could not tell you anything about what it is like. I suppose some of them are better than others, but I have always heard that they are no fun at all. I have also read online that even if you check yourself in to a hospital voluntarily that...

Hi again. I am also nervous about your appointment tomorrow because I am worried that you may be involuntarily hospitalized. Some doctors are like that; they just send their patients away without any consideration for how their patient would feel leaving home. Maybe you should tell your doctor that ...

I am happy to read that you slept well last night & had fun on your computer yesterday. Do you have any plans for today? I hope today is better than this weekend, when you were feeling poorly. It is just one more day until your appointment with your therapist. I wish you good luck tomorrow, and ...
