I just did: preference. And saying that people's attractions of the opposite sex is solely based on a genetic premise is not only an inaccurate statement to make, but an arrogant one as well. I'm arrogant? Then I should be getting a lot of chicks then, right? There are other factors involved as to ...

Nice. Are you an INFJ, by any chance? I know someone who is (and I'm not trying to stereotype here) and seems fairly detatched, but she's not. She is extremely emotional and empathetic, but does not express this to other people upon just a glance. Just curious, as always... I may be. I was an INFP ...

I think definition of "virignity" is too narrow here. We mostly think of "sex" as "sexual intercourse" and some tab A into slot B pump-action. But what about oral sex? Mutual masturbation? Anal sex? Sexual contact? Hell, what if, for some bizarre reason, two people try to have sex but fail, because ...

I never understood what's so sexy about vampires anyway. I mean, seriously, it would be necrophilia. And wraiths are spirits, so that sort of defeats the whole idea...

But would sex with a centaur be open-mindedness or bestiality :?:

Oh, please spare me this Darwin-esque crap. Even though his theory of "natural selection" does ring some home truths, it doesn't necessarily have to apply to us humans. We all have the freedom to act and choose based within our preditermined environment; we are not dictated by our genes. Oh yes we ...

Damn tough question. My list of movie favorites is somewhere in the 30's because I can't make up my mind. But if I had to choose. . . King Kong (1933) Evil Dead 2 Being John Malcovich Heavy Traffic Taxi Driver If not, than maybe American Beauty Conan the Barbarian Deliverance Ninja Scroll The Last T...

Okay, on to my personal beliefs. On a good day, I will test the following results at the belief-o-matic (q.v.): 1. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (100%) 2. Orthodox Quaker (98%) 3. Liberal Quakers (92%) 4. Unitarian Universalism (82%) 5. Seventh Day Adventist (73%) 6. Mainline to Conserva...

I guess if I had to be some sort of Christian, I'd have to consider myself a somewhat Liberal Christian. Wow, that almost sounds like a contradiction given the current mainstream Christian beliefs. Not really. Go to the belief-o-matic and read their descriptions of "Mainline to Liberal Christian Pr...

I still do not understand how anyone with AS can be religious? Granted that people may have been told to believe in something when growing up, and perhaps that has become indelibly imprinted? But surely people understand that religion is an emotional response to the complexity and uncertainty of th...

From The Language of Argument , the 2002 10th edition: Left-Handers (Those Sickos) Got No Reason to Live! by Roger L. Exactly. What I would seek are similar core beliefs and compatable interests. I think it'd grate on my nerves to be with someone who doesn't understand or respect them. I'd feel like there's no connection, but that might just be me.

Since when do guys make the rules at who women should be with? Since the more competative ones out-competed the weaker males and survived in the Stone Age. Today, even when these rules should no longer apply, men and women still select their mates for the same unconscious reasons. Oh, boo-hoo. So j...
