Welcome to WP BunnyHugger! And I like that nickname too. ;) You have found a good place for learning and support. I also have a soft spot for animals, and have worked with them. Once upon a time I too wanted to go into Biology or Botany and the college professor in charge of the department (and I wa... |

Matt your post reminded me of some of my very favorite stim toys when I was a kid. I had forgotten all about them! Two of them were mennonite-made toys (like amish). One was called a Jacob's Ladder (blocks of wood suspended by ribbons...loved the rhythmic click), and another was an old fashioned per... |

Raziel I am glad to hear you are out of the traumatic environment and your symptoms are improving. :) The antidepressant you are on, agomelatonine, sounds promising. I looked it up and saw it is not available in the US yet, but is going through clinical trials here. I am very sensitive to antidepres... |

I only get ''overload'' from too many negative emotions. I start shaking with rage, wanting to scream and physically beat myself up. Joe, I've heard seizures that affect the limbic/emotional part of the brain can affect people that way. Maybe you should get evaluated for that, just to make sure? It... |

I agree with Dawn. Even if I'm not looking directly at somebody speaking to me I will acknowledge conversation with nods and "MmHmm's" and other noises of agreement/disagreement or expressions of dismay or surprise. I have difficulty with being talked over. Like they ask a question and then don't le... |

I found out with my 2nd EEG that EEG's are not really very reliable...but when they do catch a seizure that's reliable. I had always heard when nursing that it often took 5 EEG's to diagnose seizures in somebody you *knew* had them, but for a long time I didn't understand why they miss them. Then I ... |

I have 3 signing books here on the shelf, borrowed and recently unused. I made an effort at learning and using more signing when I was having more difficulty with speech and I found some odd things that may be useful to some people. I've done some thinking on this subject. When my left temporal slow... |

I was thinking about you last night, invisiblesilent...because it was one of those invisible and silent moments. I am glad to hear you are getting testing. That's great! Maybe I can get proper testing too? I've never had modern testing and I've been wondering lately what it would show. My happy news... |

No PM for asocial Dillogic, but wondering if the bunny is vorpal? ;) I am having fun reformatting my electronics and it's nice to have a fresh start once in awhile, but my laptop is being extra pesky for some reason. I am glad you are asking this question, Milk. I have been curious about the same thing. Would something like Microsoft Silverlight be able to be developed for such a thing? That software looks to have incredible potential to me...and free too! |

Dont give away your powers, young Luke Well that's the most perfect thing anybody has said all day. I can give away a lot of things foolishly, but nobody can ever take this from me. And I don't mind sharing at all...with the right folks. I could give and give and never give this away. It's part of ... |
