I confess that I forgot the act of switching the buttons off on my usb hub and that this missed memory alarmed me as usually I remember everything in an Autistic manner. My paranoia about forgetting things and anxiety about developing a memory disorder, makes me try harder to re-inforce my brain-neu...

My experience of doctors has been that every person of colour has been a better doctor than the white doctors I have encountered. Doctors of colour do not feel unnecessarily privileged and thus, listen to their patients, since they have long had an oppressed role within society. White doctors confid...

I confess that the deadly sin of greed has caught up with me this evening, via the actions of another.

It is probably for the best.

I realise that this post is taking up data space & that it could be considered greedy to take up more data space on a server. But, I feel as though there is an imbalance in the amount of non-British content that has been posted in the past decade & thus, this little spurt of post-bombing, se...

Cigar smoking is probably WORSE for lung cancer than cigarette smoking. How do you figure? You don't inhale cigars, you puff them, and they're not an all day every day habit, they're more like a few a week thing for most people. Yep! It is technically possible to inhale cigars, but unless you are h...

He's a fanatic. It's respectable to be enthusiastic about anything, but when you are sacrificing human lives on a mass scale....?!

I went from a public junior high school to a Catholic high school, and the difference in how I was treated was night and day. Almost everyone in high school was so nice; I never got bullied the way I did in junior high. Yep. I went to two Catholic Schools & received minimal bullying, and when I...

https://tinyimg.io/i/gxbUlbi.jpg Every child, at least once in their life, has been admonished to not stare at the sun for so long lest they go blind. But does looking at the sun really cause blindness, or is that just an old wives’ tale? Turns out, it’s a bit of both. The retina most certainly can...

I used to say it a lot, and my cousin used to say "no, I don't know", as a joke  . Now I seem to say "sort of" a lot when speaking. Non-native speakers of English language do this more than native speakers, but native speakers do it a lot also, on a general population level.
