Problem is mysql connections are also needed for search engine crawlers and other no-value bots and lookie-loos. Real users’ activity can go down but costs (dollars and resources) can go up. And those are just passive parasites, not active bad guys. So, running a website is a deceptively Hard Thing.

Finally! I hope Bezos buys them and gives Elon a run for his money. We just might see a city on Mars and colonized floating space habs and post-scarcity space based solar in our lifetimes. Or not. We might blow up Earth before we figure it out or run out of resources and starve to death. Really hard...

To people sharing about grades being up and down: Me. My two sons. My daughter got a special award in 8th grade (age 14) for having the best grades in the school.

the only time in my life when the ADHD was into abeyance was when I was on Strattera [Atomoxetine], that is a miracle drug, it gave me calm lucidity for the first and only time in my life. but Joe Insurance thought it was too expensive [$20/capsule in 00's dollars] so he stopped covering it for me ...
