Reindeer is the European name for Caribou.....or Caribou is the American name for Reindeer. I didn't know this, so I did some googling. Apparently caribous and reindeers are different types of deers, the one mentioned first often being larger than reindeers. But according to wikipedia, North Americ... |

If the shoe fits, yes, but the problem is that there are no proper guidelines to how well the shoe needs to fit. An elderly person says the N-word = the said elderly person is a nazi? Not so in my opinion, but I know people who would say yes they are. I don't think that showing signs of racism, like... |

I'm not so sure about everyone wanting it, but I know I do. It's good to feel needed, and it'd be nice to have even just one or two people who felt like they needed me. And by "need" I mean in a way that can't be easily replaced by just anyone... I mean, I'm "needed" at my job, b... |

Can't relate with the obsession part, but can relate with having trouble maintaining my weight at healthy level. I'm there now , but even at healthy level, my weight keeps jumping between barely short of being overweight and actually being healthy weight. One of the main reasons I managed to lose so... |

What your real gripe here is a gripe I've always had. Why is it always me that has to make the effort? It would be nice if someone could extend a friendly gesture towards me for a change. I feel like I'm always doing the work. It would be lovely if everyone was outgoing and friendly and included ou... |

I bought socks on Friday. Christmas themed ones, Christmas gifts for my family. I would've bought them anyway, but by timing it like this, I saved five euros, so it was worth it. |

So... maybe those people would be comparable to people who marry in to the royal family instead of having being born in to it? |

I kinda messed up yesterday at my hobby group, and probably ended up causing extra trouble and/or awkwardness to at least one of the people there (I don't really care if the others got awkward when listening in, but I do care about that one person involved in the matter), so now I'm wondering if I s... |

Ugh, I have colonoscopy today, so I haven't eaten anything since about 11.50 am yesterday, and am now feeling pretty weak... I think I might be dehydrated due to the medication I've had to take despite drinking a lot. Guess I need to drink more. |

Orange soda and a liquid form medicine that tastes really, really bad. And I have to drink a liter of it within two hours.
...But on the bright side, at least it doesn't taste as nasty as cough medicine. |

I just finished a certain book. Ended more or less as I expected after reading about half of the book, excluding the two page epilogue that's context came out of nowhere. It completely caught me off guard, threw some theories out of the window and left me wondering what the h- just happened. Emmi It... |

^ Hey we both got tea books! Sort of... mine is Teemestarin kirja by Emmi Itäranta, and the name translates to "Tea master's book" or "Tea maker's book." Not that it's really about tea; it's dystopian fiction, but since there's the word "tea" in the name... |

Same. I don't think people outright hate me, but I suppose I give off a too awkward air for people to want to get to know me better, and when some do, I say or do something too awkward... maybe? Sometimes I invite people to places myself, but that doesn't work out most of the time, either. I did hav... |

Is that a thing? Is there a study about this? I mean, I've run a lot more in to articles about how single people, especially childless ones, tend to be the happiest than about single people being miserable. |

It's a scientific fact that the mother is seriously harmed by having a growing infant inside her throughout her whole pregnancy. And there's nothing beautiful about morning sickness, which I would be terrified to go through due to emetophphobia. Some women suffer hyperemesis gravidarum, which sound... |
