With U.S. stealth bombers flying over North Korea it makes sense why they'd have their rockets alert and ready to fire. I don't think they entered NK airspace, I think they got close and made their presence known. It was in response to their threats about a nuclear attack on the US west coast. It's... |

It becomes a police action and SK will have a hard time defending the 38th parallel from a flood of refugees that could make the economy collapse. |

Did they forget what happened last time the US was attacked in the Pacific? He was probably taught a story about it that is entirely fantasy. why would he have been? North Koreans probably hate the Japanese more than they hate the Americans. North Korea is the world's largest cult (yes, they practi... |

Mentally ill? Check. Firearms? Check. Other weapons? Check. Computer games? Check. Single mother? Check. Morons. Utter morons. Even all those things combined still leave the number of active shooters amounting statistically to isolated incidents. There are tons of people that fit that description a... |

It's because even that paste-eater running NK knows that the current US commander in chief is a p***y. |

I'm also curious what's up with the .45 ammo? According to the official story there wasn't a .45 involved or even one on the scene or at the Lanza's house! |

Yep, the more people there are packing heat the greater the risk to the criminal. If I'm an armed robber I'd much rather do a job in a state with very strict gun laws so I'll be less likely to run into opposition. They must be moving to my area, where they can also expect minimal jail time or parol... |

A C183 is a Kodak EasyShare camera. there is no such thing as a C183 firearm. Also, the inventory of items is for what was in the whole house and car and that particular list does not break down what was possessed by who. The NRA literature is made to sound bad, but they mostly teach safety and targ... |

I think that if you set someone on fire after they've been doused in oil, than it should be considered a premeditated attack. It's amazingly obvious that doing such a thing would cause serious bodily harm to someone. If you're too drunk to realize that, then it's your own damn fault for getting so ... |

^ Is murder determined by intent or premeditation? If the second is correct wouldn't "premeditated murder" be a pleonasm? Could someone more familiar with the British laws shed some light? Murder 1 requires premeditation. Murder 2 requires intent that wasn't premeditated. Manslaughter is a broader ... |

A manslaughter charge fits the letter of the law since it cannot be proven he intended to light the victim on fire, and if he didn't mean to kill him then it can't be a "hate crime", at least as far as any charges related to the victim's death are concerned. Assault charges, had they been filed, mig... |

I suppose there are a lot of things that could have been tried in both civil and criminal court, but murder 1 or 2 doesn't fit since he it cannot be proven that he was going to set the victim aflame, and without the death being proven to be a deliberate "hate crime", such sentencing enhancements don... |

Setting it at the age of 21 is about right due to brain development. The brain is not done developing physically at 18 and still has one final, rapid period to undergo and alcohol stunts that development. One of the things that still needs to develop is the ability to moderate decision-making. |
