i might try something with redstone as navigation in caves. but i need to find a system that i can do in a hurry because when i find a cave system the last thing i think is how i will get out, and my first thought is "wow i wonder what's in there" You could place redstone repeaters pointing towards...

I play on this Minecraft server called Newkraft. It's not really a "no profanity" server, or a "children's" server, but it has rather understanding admins. If she makes it clear she's new and doesn't really understand the unspoken rules of Minecraft, the worst that can happen is getting griefed.

That floating platform could be used for a temple, maybe a sort of Olympus.

Supreme irony: I just got insatiably bored while reading about other people's insatiable boredom while searching for a way to cure my insatiable boredom.

Whenever one my my kids told me he/she was bored I told him/her to count the hairs on their forearms. Doing so would arouse their interest in numbers. Seriously though. Boredom is less about not having anything to do and more about not having anything you really want to do. As a kid I always ...

I've been perpetually bored for at least a year. The only things that interest me are videogames, and my interest for those only last for a few hours at best. Even when I do find interest in something, it's still a dull interest, nothing truly interesting. It's as though a film of boredom coats all ...

If you ask me, it's all pop culture's fault. Think about what people care about nowadays. Football, baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, et cetera, not to mention Hollywood in general. Why exactly are sports such a big deal, anyway? After all, they're nothing more than a bunch of people in uniforms t...

Maybe you should take a look at http://www.lucidology.com. It shows you how to induce waking sleep paralysis, which is this state where your body separates from the mind's input. Essentially, you can't move any of your voluntary muscles. You can still control your breathing, but if you don't, you'll...

OoT is a good game, but there are just some things about it that are sub-par. For example, does everyone remember that Water Temple? The Iron boots being Gear was not a smart move. This was fixed in the 3DS version, along with other things, but I wonder what made them think that making an item that ...

Played through the SP twice. It was the best videogame experience I've ever had in my life, though I'm the first to admit that I have the worst memory that I can remember anyone having. Just the concept of Portal is incredibly innovative, and the level of sheer originality and intellectual challenge...

I love videogames. My favorite recently is Minecraft, which I'm surprised nobody brought up yet. Not to mention Prototype, in which my favorite activities include and are limited to navigation and combat. This is good because the story mode missions generally include combinations of the two in liber...

Not certain if anyone has brought this up yet, but I think Fuyuki Hinata, Momoka Nishizawa, and Tamama from Keroro Gunsou; Light Yagami, L, and Near from Death Note; Manta Oyamada and Ryunosuke Umemiya from Shaman King, and so on and so forth.

"Yeah, and those who do know its name dare not speak it." "What's its name?" "Oh, I dare not speak it." "I...

I think so, KyleTheGhost, but won't altering the past for a purpose cause a time travel paradox due to the fact that once the past is altered the purpose of altering it, and therefore the purpose of traveling back in time in the first place, will cease to exist? Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

I've felt this for the majority of my remembered life (not saying much), and this is the first time I've learned that there was a single word for it.
