I think that a general disability lawyer will be good enough. As far as the law is concerned, the difference between aspergers/autism and any other mental or physical disability is academic; a disability is a disability.

I think that this has a core of truth in it. High Functioning ASDs can (and will) appear normal at first, which means that when (not if) one of the autistic symptoms show up, they appear to come out of the blue. Also, the feeling that "something is off" is bigger to HF ASDs, for the same r...

I am indeed. Online, i can read back to what whas said, and take my time fomulating what i want to say, with the delay being blamed on typing speed.

In addition, my difficulties in reading non-verbal cues is a non-issue online, since these cues don't exist online.

NT normal.
In elementary school, girls are often called "icky gross", but that doesn't mean that boys in that age don't find girls in their age bracket attractive, in one way or another.

Using your brain is an enormous power-hog; you need an exessive amount of sugars to keep thinking straight, especially when preparing for exams. Unfortunately, many foods also have ingredients that your brain cant use, so they get stored, and food cravings often result in you grabbing the first thin...

I like the story and the gameplay, mainly, although there are some points that are great annoyances to me. mainly, there is the detection; if someone sees me drawing the blade on him on a stealth mission, i fail; even if half a second later the guy is dead and noone else saw me. secondly, there is t...

Simple correlation is not even enough to warrant further investigation, you need more that that. Before HIV was discovered there was a correlation between the homosexual and intravenous drug communities and AIDS. Thank God simple correlation was discarded as it not warranting further investigation....

Likely, most scientists end up working for some company that produces some hazardous food, material, or some destruction to the Earth, yet, their job requires them to produce research that concludes, "This product is great". The scientists at the food companies tell us the additives are O...

a genetic cure , especially pre-natal is akin to eugenics. One can argue about whether eliminating autism and it's ilk in that way is a good thing (which i'm not trying to start in this thread), but the method that seems to come from this statement can not be, eugenics is not something that a presid...

Muscle tone can be changed. If you're not having success, you can get help in a gym, or online. Women always say a man's body isn't a big deal to them, but they do care. Not so much if you're a muscular hunk, but flab and fat can be a turnoff. Mostly women respond to height and grooming. If you dre...

It's just a thing that happens.
Many people that work in an office get bored during the day, and for some of them (for men moreso than women), one way to get rid of that is by being highly immature.

Don't think any of it, these things happen for no reason whatsoever

According to the major religions, suicide is a sin, therefor trying to get a "fast-pass" into heaven will prevent you from entering it.

A word of caution: correlation does not equal causation. I insist on the causal link : alpha particles are very energetic. Meh, they are also pretty much harmless unless you eat the material emitting the radiation... This means they have a strong cinetic energy. Alpha emitters are able to travel ev...

Stimming really going away? i don't think that that is common.
Stims do change over time, and it is likely that the person chanes his stims into some that are not as easily noticable (tapping toes inside of shoes instead of fingers on he table, for example)

"divide partition" is not an option indeed. you will need to "shrink" one, and then make a new one out of the empty space (defragment the existing partition first, to make sure that the most amount of free storage is actually available). For the program you are trying to run, the...

Personally, i'd trust the diagnosis more than the opinion of your family, especially since the "not being raised well" (refrigerator mom) idea of autism has been debunked for a long time. In addition to that; being autistic shouldn't prohibit you from joining the military (assuming you are...
