Set up a micro To-Do-list for every part of the process: Example. 1. Collect the trousers, that need to be washed. 2. Soak them. 3. Put them in hot water and scrub. 4. Shift the water. 5. Clean out the soap. 6. Dry them. .....mission accomplished! Reward yourself.... and go to next micro to-do list.... |

I am social, but my difficulties in reading situations and people has made me insecure and somewhat withdrawn. To much ado is is also confusing.... like at confetti-funnel. My ADHD, I guess. |

Yes. The smile basically means: "I have no aggressive intentions". |

...and I got Machiavellianism on "Everybody can be manipulated" which is common knowledge, but this test might interpret it as "I want to manipulate" - which isn´t true. Difficult test, because it is difficult to know how to interpret the questions. |

I would have liked an early diagnosis too. Could probably have saved me a lot of trouble. Got mine at 60. |

Then it is probably through Margrethe 1st of Denmark and Norway from the late 1300s. Her son became king of Scotland: James IV....but your relation seems to be a lot closer to our time. I´ve learned a lot through Geni (basic). Great fun to play with: "Thorfinn 'Skull-Splitter' , Jarl of Orkney ... |

Splinter-skills are super skills in one particular area. They show in the jagged skill/intelligence curve in autistic individuals at many levels. I was hyperlexic too - ate a book in 3 hours, when I was 9. Math - well - quite another matter  At 3-4 years, however, I could memorize a Mozart con... |

Hmm. Clapping, rubbing of hands and finger-flickering are things, I just do as response to exitement - no matter where. Maybe the other things will be freed of control with time. People just have to accept....Hmmm. I just have to accept |

It´s short for "self stimulating behavior" - stress release. The socially accepted stims are knee bopping, ball-pen clicking and such. You´ve seen them all. In people with autism, the stims will often be more "visible", such as rocking and flapping hands and arms - or discrete: r... |

Now I come to think of it - "our" behaviors are´t all gibberish and ideosyncracies. During my musical education, in a body-awareness course for musicians, I was actually taught to flap - to "throw out tension" by losening the wrists and flap: "Tension! GO AWAY!" I´ve be... |

Ever since I heard about the use of subliminal messages, I have been very careful not to take anything literally, when it comes to advertisement. Daily communication, however, is quite another matter. |
