Don't get hung up on spending money on a formal diagnosis. My employer paid for mine but there's no way I would've spent hundreds otherwise. If you can identify with the diagnostic criteria then that's good enough. A piece of paper isn't necessary in order for you to be aware of your differences. Oh...

The best outcomes are a combination of nicotine replacement products (gum, patches, inhalator) and talking therapy/support group. In the UK this can be accessed through your general practitioner. Also consider vaping

Thanks for the reply. I've changed some display settings on the phone which have helped a bit. The PM system is a bit of a nightmare though! Have you spoken to your GP about this? I'm guessing that as you've had medication you probably have. Ask to be referred to your local mental health team. There are lots of ways to help with this and you are certainly not alone.
