Religion is dying rapidly in most of the first-world countries. Every year we are becoming more like the Roman empire; goddless and depraved. While religious people from poorer countries may survive, I don't believe there will be any wide-spread martyrdom of any religion, as those people will be the... |

Yes. The social difficulties have a huge effect on my life, but at an even deeper level than that, the cognitive profile and the things that go with it -- intense interests, the ability to absorb vast amounts of detailed information about those interests, and the tendency to focus on details ("weak... |

I always use subtitles too... then it's easier to follow along. When the characters are yelling or talking too quickly, then I always miss stuff. Plus if you focus on the writing then you don't get distracted as easily. |

I once read that about 20% of world leaders are scorpios, and almost 40% of those are married to a pisces.
Also, the majority of couples I know are with signs that are considered 'compatible'; ie. earth & water vs. fire & air.
Don't ask me how it works, but there is something in it. |

Yes, it happens to me a lot too. I don't mind it so much if it's from strangers... but my mom ALWAYS talks down to me and I hate her because of that... it's ruining my life; no wonder I have no confidence. |

I have lots of interests... which is probably why I`m not very skilled; I don`t focus on one interest long enough. My only really noticable talent is that I can paint very realistic surface textures (ie. wood, stone, concrete, etc). |

I do this also... I think it's natural for us because we want to figure out what the person actually meant. Ruminating on these phrases has helped me a lot in understanding the finer points of conversation. I also get TV/movie clips stuck in my head all the time, especially from Simpsons. If it`s bo... |

I don't stim much, but for some reason it really bothers me when other people do things like fiddle with their fingers or tap their feet or paw their face. Also, rubbing hands together or people rubbing other people, especially on the back. It's like I can feel the touch on my own body, greatly amp... |

I wonder if constant stress leads to depletion of the immune system, and I believe allergies are an immune disorder. Many Aspies are constantly stressed out by their surroundings, so it is a possibility. :!: I don't think allergies are more of an Aspie thing. Almost everyone I know has allergies of... |
