If you plug a zinc plate in one side and a copper plate in the other you can use your potato computer to power a digital clock. The computer in Foxtrot (newspaper cartoon) looks like a peach with a stem and all. One radio show I listen talked about a cool new cell phone which was an "appleberry...

Mediawiki is free and it is a bit like Sharepoint. It is a pain to install. You might try something like: https://lifehacker.com/run-your-personal-wikipedia-from-a-usb-stick-354005 You could also look at https://alternativeto.net/software/calibre/ https://alternativeto.net/software/double-commander/...

I have a 2015 Intel MacBook Pro with 2.7GHz Intel i5 and 8 GB of RAM and a 121 GB SSD. I bought when I thought I wanted something minimal to write my resume on. I now wish it had a much bigger SSD or even a internal HD or external HD. I'd like more room for some VMs and XCode. Sometimes I go to Appl...

I don't tell people "I don't drink". I tell people "I am a teetotaler". It is better to "be a something" than "not be a something". I am NOT saying "I am not like you", which it mostly what upsets people, I am saying "I am happy to be, distinctl...

FYI
In DSM 4 you could ONLY have ADHD OR Autism.
One OR the other not both.
In DSM 5 you can get a dx for BOTH ADHD and Autism.
(jargon: dx is short for diagnosis)

I am thinking about this too. One thing to look at is the DSM-5 criteria - you can google it or ask a good reference Liberian for help. Or ask here if those fail. You might want to look at the DSM 4 too (not instead of). Another thing to know is you may need to prove the symptoms go back to childhoo...

If you look at a book with Morse Code represented as dots and dashes with spaces between the words you really have at least three distinct symbols: . . . - - - . . . . . . - - - . . . Dot = “.” = 1 Dash = “-“ = 2 WordSpace = “ “ = 0 As someone pointed out you could use another symbol to represent “e...

base one: = 0 1 = 1 11 = 2 111 = 3 1111 = 4 11111 = 5 111111 = 6 1111111 = 7 11111111 = 8 111111111 = 9 1111111111 = 10 (we don't need 0, just 1 - this is an extension and simplification of Roman Numerals) This silly and bizarre number system is actually the basis of Morse Code and modern Infrared (...
